Beautiful hotel and friendly staff. However the room was very stuffy and dark. Lightbulbs were out and there were hairs on the pillowcases. The a/c did not work.

Struck Gold in Del Norte!

The Del Norte community came together to save this charming hotel just before it was torn down. One of the oldest hotels in Colorado serves up fine dining treats in the formal dining room and delightful cocktails and bar food in the pub/cocktail lounge. A group of young entrepreneurs have taken this gem to another level by adding a 21st Century distillery and tasting room where we enjoyed live music and delicious Manhattans. Made Del Norte a destination for us!

There was so much to like about the property, but the room was very small. I would not recommend if your stay necessitates spending a lot of time in the room, which was the case with myself.
