Pacific Seascape - A serene coastal escape
Pacific Seascape
With gorgeous ocean views, exposed beams, clerestory windows, and a wraparound deck, Pacific Seascape will transport you into a land of relaxation and reflection. This 2-bed, 2-bath cabin situated on 1.2 acres in Albion features all you need for the vacation of a lifetime. Located in the Pacific Reefs community, Pacific Seascape is 1188 square feet of luxury, with breathtaking vistas, a fully-equipped kitchen, a 6-top table, a plush couch, and an open floor plan (all the better to enjoy the mesmerizing views).
The elegantly appointed kitchen boasts a farmhouse sink, tile backsplash, and all-new, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, so you can whip up your favorite dishes in style. If youâd rather not cook on vacation, youâre a short drive from some of the Mendocino Coastâs most celebrated restaurants, including Albion River Inn and the Ledford House.
In the primary bedroom, youâll find a king bed and patio doors to the deck looking out on the cypress trees. The second bedroom has a twin bunk bed plus a home office for those on a working vacation. Both bathrooms feature luxurious tiled showers, and the home has an on-demand water heater for immediate and unlimited hot water.
About ten minutesâ drive south of Mendocino Village, Pacific Seascape gives you plenty of options for exploring, whether you prefer hiking or simply taking a scenic drive up the coast. (Psst, on your way north, stop at the Mendocino Bay Overlook for a little-known panoramic view of the village and the headlands.)
Van Damme State Park offers a quiet beach, as well as fabulous hiking trails, including a boardwalk, a pygmy forest, and a waterfall hike. Or, explore Big River Beach, where the water laps the shore and a sandbar appears and disappears with the tide. The Mendocino Headlands offer countless natural wonders â and you can peruse galleries and shops after your hike. If you want to go off the beaten path, a trip south takes you to Navarro Beach, Elk, and the South Coast.
But with such amazing views from Pacific Seascape, we wouldnât blame you if you stayed in to watch one of natureâs best shows: the cascading waves, illuminated in the late-afternoon light, followed by spectacular sunsets as the sun dips below the horizon. This secluded little paradise has all the amenities and comforts you need to sink into the couch and let awe and inspiration wash over you. (Donât worry, you also have Wi-Fi in the cabin, so you can stream TV shows to your heartâs content.)
Here at the edge of the world, embrace blissful wonder and marvel at the vastness of the ocean from the comfort of your home away from home. The sea may be constantly changing, but once you walk in the door, youâll love Pacific Seascape forever.
