Beautiful Lake Home! 5 Bedrooms with 3 Full Baths, 2 separate living areas & Large Recreation/Game room, and private hot tub. Occupancy is 14 guests not including guests 2 yrs and younger. (Sleeps 14 in beds) Clean linens, towels, toilet paper, paper towels, pantry items, and cleaning supplies.
The pictures speak for themselves. A perfect getaway for families, paradise for ski fanatics or a romantic place for couples. Enjoy our luxurious vacation home with all modern amenities and have the vacation of a lifetime .This is your home away from home conveniently located in Towamensing Trails; short easy walk to the seasonal community lake beach, outdoor pool, kayak rentals, basketball courts, tennis courts, beach volleyball, playground and clubhouse with snack stand/restaurant. Just a few minutes drive to Jack Frost, Big Boulder Ski area, Kalahari, amazing hiking, fishing and many more attractions. Bring your Boat and launch at Beltzville Lake just a 20 min drive.
Main Floor has a cozy living room with gas burning fireplace , 42' LED TV along with large custom windows, formal dining area which opens up to modern kitchen and a huge deck in the backyard with a 6 person hot tub facing a serene view of the backyard. The main floor also includes a full bath, 1st bedroom with a king bed with 32' LED TV (ROKU) and a 2nd bedroom with queen bed. .Premier audio speaker system throughout Living Room, Dining and Kitchen and separate speaker system in the game Room.
Second Floor: Grand and spacious primary bedroom features comfortable king bed, attached full bath, vaulted ceilings and 32'' LED TV. There are 2 additional bedrooms upstairs one with a queen bed and another that has a queen bed and a bunk bed (two twins). Full hallway bathroom is common.
The lower level has a queen pull out sleeper sofa and game room that includes a classic pocket pool table with a ping pong table conversion, vintage golf-tee video game, Air Hockey, Basketball double shot, and Foosball table. You can relax and watch Movies on the 60' LED TV in front of the electric fireplace. There is fun to be had by everyone in the Game Room. High Speed WiFi connection exist throughout the entire house.
Lake Towamensing is among the cleanest and well regulated lakes in the Pocono Mountains. You can enjoy four season activities in our spacious and well appointed home that’s fully equipped to make your stay comfortable. It is a well cared for home and not a full time rental. We only rent to families, their extended families, and friends who are looking for a memorable escape. We do not rent to people under the age of twenty-five. If you're looking for a very clean, exclusive home with a lot of custom features, close to all things that make a trip to the mountains worthwhile, then search no more.
Free Wifi throughout the house and cable provided.
Our house is located just a short walk from Towamensing Lake, private beach, and Lake view Swimming Pool - which is adjacent to Towamensing Trails’ Restaurant/Club and snack bar. The community requires badges in the form of wristbands to use the amenities. These are provided to you in an envelope upon your arrival. All persons over the age of 5 need a wristband. There are 8 wristbands included in the rental. There are day passes available to purchase at a cost of $10 per person for one day amenity access if you need more than the 8 wristbands provided with the rental. They can be purchased at the boat rental stand located at the lake beach area. In the summer please bring beach towels, beach/pool chairs and beach umbrellas if needed. They do not supply or rent them. There is a swimming lake at Hickory Run State Park; it has a free beach for swimming and there are several streams for fishing enthusiasts. Hickory Run is just 8-minutes from the Trails. Be Sure To Check Our Home Visitors Guide Located In the living room When You Arrive. Parking for up to 7 vehicles. Towel sets for 12 guests provided. Please advise if additional are needed. The community amenities are open weekends only from Memorial Day to Father's day. Then open all week until Labor day.

Great Non-Ski Weekend

We booked this house on the President's Day Weekend 2025 mainly because of a ski trip for families and friends. However, a wintery snowstorm impacted our ski trip, making 14 of us stay at this house for 3 days and 2 nights. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and had a great time, as this house has everything we needed. Downstairs entertainment and a hot tub are the best, especially when there is no place we could go. Owner Carolee is very kind and pleasant to communicate with. She even let us check in earlier before the snow came into the area to avoid bad traveling. Definitely recommend this house and would love to come back again.

Bring on the Games

Every year my family looks for a house to share for our vacation. This year we were lucky enough to come across this gem in the Poconos. There were so many activities to take advantage of in the house and neighborhood. The beach and lake were so refreshing. The men in the family really enjoyed the basketball courts. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and trying to keep track of all of the deer. Carolee answered any questions that we had and was available at any time.

We love this house!

This is the third time our family has stayed at l here and we can’t wait for the next time! Not only is the house stunning but it feels like coming home. It’s very comfortable and spacious. We spent so much time laughing in the kitchen, running around the basement with our kiddos and hanging out in the hot tubs. The house offers a pool table, ping pong, basket ball, air hockey, foozeball and video games. We could have spend the whole time just sitting in the house! But we absolutely love the lake and pool and love that it is in walking distance. The house was very clean and we love vacationing here.

Great choice for a family

Overall, the house was very close to expected and that's a good thing. You always worry that online pictures make things look bigger and better than they are. Common areas like living room and dining room were great size for our family of 7 adults, an 11 year old and a 4 month old. Our 11 year old granddaughter immediately claimed and spent much of her time in the bedroom with the bunk beds. The hot tub on the deck was used every day. The Towamensing community is quiet and peaceful. Waking up to see deer outside the windows most mornings was a treat. It seems like most everyone abides by the 15 mph speed limit which made walking the area very safe. Beach and pool were nice and relaxing. In closing we have to compliment the house owner Carolee. We had never rented a house for our family before. She was extremely responsive to questions both leading up to and during our stay. While our questions were pretty routine, the information Carolee provided helped us understand what to bring.

Memorial Day

The place was great. Carolee was available if needed. It was easy to check-in to the place. There was a lot for us to do...the lake, pool, playground area but also the house itself had pingpong, pool, air hockey and more as well as a hot tub. We had a wonderful weekend.

Fun Times

We came for a long weekend of skiing with our children and 8 grandchildren (ages 8yrs to 6 months). Unfortunately it rained most of the time but we had a great stay, thanks to this wonderful home. The basement games from air hockey to basketball were lifesavers. The jacuzzi was a big hit. House was clean and well equipped, beds were comfortable and bunk beds in a kids room plus children’s books were a big hit.

Wonderful stay at the Crane's Nest

I have so many great things to say about our stay at the Crane's nest. The house was clean and comfortable with many amenities to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We had 10 people, including 6 adults and 4 children. The house was the perfect size to fit everyone. My kids enjoyed the games in the basement, the walk to the pool and lake was quick and easy, we enjoyed fishing in the lake and playing basketball. The property is conveniently located near attractions including the town of Jim Thorpe, Camelback water park, and many other lakes, restaurants, and places to visit. We definitely plan to return and look forward to another trip to the Poconos.
