Summary:
A recently refurbished, ideally located 4 bedroom property, that is within walking distance of the beach, restaurants and the renowned Apolonia supermarket. This villa offers all home comforts and is perfect to cater for all the family, even with a table tennis table and separate tv with playstation.


The options are endless, long strolls on the beach, passing by the Salgados lagoon to see the variety of rare birds and nearby horse riding. At night-time, there are various restaurants within walking distance, or if you are looking for a busier atmosphere, Albufeira is only a few minutes away by car, with all catering and nightlife options available.


All bedrooms and lounge have air-conditioning. Pool heating is optional.

The Space:
The lounge/ dining area is open plan with a central fireplace looking out to the pool. Comfortable sofas and armchairs and coffee table in the lounge area and 2 televisions, one dedicated to keep the kids entertained with a playstation and a selection of DVD's. English channels such as BBC, ITV, Channel 4 etc are available for viewing, as well as children channels. The dining table comfortably seats 8 guests, with a separate wine fridge!


A fully fitted and equipped kitchen (leading straight out to the BBQ area) with fridge/ freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle etc, indeed, everything that you would expect.


There are two twin bedded bedrooms on the ground floor (the beds can be pushed together, if required). These are both serviced by a large guest shower room.


The first floor has a further 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower room. The other bedroom has twin beds with an ensuite bathroom (with bath). Both bedrooms have a private terrace, plus there is another lovely terrace where one can have a relaxing drink and appreciate the sea view, or look down over the pool and garden on comfortable seating. On the outside, there is a 4m x 9m swimming pool which can be heated, if required, at 180 GBP per week. This is surrounded by a terrace and lawn, with a large table and chairs for al-fresco dining and sun loungers.There is also a barbecue area just off the kitchen with a BBQ, pizza / bread oven and sink. On the other side of the house, a table tennis table is provided for family enjoyment.

Family Holiday

There were a few issues with the property (front door lock replacement and unable to operate dishwasher effectively) which were dealt with quickly. We had great communication. With the property owner before the trip as first time traveling abroad with an infant. Appreciated the attempt at stair gate on both top and bottom of the stairs.

Amazing holiday!

The property was lovely! The pool was a great size and so were all the rooms. Great location, with just a short Uber ride to the main town. A beautiful beach just a short walk away and some lovely restaurants. My only advice would be to use the Aldi a short 20mins walk away and a lot cheaper than the other supermarkets which are closer.

Nice but a little dated property

We had nice stay at Villa Manuel. The Villa is spacious and in good location: near to the beach, grocery shop (expensive one though) and some restaurants. Nice guarded property with peacefully location. However the property seems to be quite dated e.g tiles missing from the swimming pool, walls could use some fresh paint and washer has seen the best days. We actually noticed that the property is listed for sale which might mean that there are no motivation to do any improvements. Also the Villa is not fully equipped for large groups. There was not enough knives or large pans for cooking but maybe the assumption is that the guests are eating out? However few knives were provided when requested. Communication with the team was ok when they responded but we had some difficulties to reach them before the arrival which caused some stress. Also during the stay not all of our communication was responded. Overall the stay was ok but with the price you’d expect to get something premium and this Villa is not that.

Great location

My family and I had an excellent stay. The villa was extremely close to the beach and an excellent Italian restaurant, where we ate most evenings. The villa itself was good, but in need of a little renovation (mainly painting/decorating) and the pool is in need of some TLC (tiles were missing and coming off the floor). That said we still had an amazing stay.

Wonderful villa and fantastic holiday! - 5*

We had a brilliant time at Villa Manuel this spring. The villa was everything we hoped it would be, clean, contemporary and comfortable. The pool was fantastic and heated (as requested) so great for our 1 year old to swim in every day. The location of the villa is fantastic. 5 minute walk to the beach, excellent restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Our contact during the stay, Manuel, was incredibly helpful, friendly and if we needed anything he was so quick to be in touch with us. The transfer company (to and from the airport) were also excellent, on time, lovely vehicles and friendly drivers. We'd definitely stay here again! Thanks to all for a wonderful family holiday.

Excellent Location

On arrival we were greeted to the villa by our very courteous, helpful and friendly host Manuel. The villa was approx. a 45 minute drive from Faro Airport and we had hired 2 cars for our stay. (4 adults and 3 kids) Soon after arriving we realised we most definitely did not need 2 cars. Everything is so close to the villa, even having small kids age 6, 4 and 6 months, with their small little steps and pushing a buggy we could walk to the beach in 10 minutes ( a lot less for an adult on their own) There was a mini market directly across the road and a number of larger supermarkets very close by. You could stay in this villa without any car as a taxi to Albuferia for example was approx. €13. There was a company right across the road organising trips to zoomarine and aqua parks etc so while you do have a little more freedom with a car I don't think you would spend the car hire price on buses taxis etc. The beach in Gale is beautiful and has some wonderful resteraunts. You can walk all along the beach to the neighbouring town or use the boardwalk for part of the journey. It is about a 9.5k round trip best done in the morning or evening before the real heat kicks in!! We would definitely return to stay in this area and would love to come back to stay in Villa Manuel.

Very modern and cozy Villa

We stayed as a young group of 8 for 1 week. We really loved the villa! It had everything we needed to chill out (including a PS3 for some Fifa Tournament evenings). The beach is just a few minutes away and so are some very nice restaurants to eat at in the evenings. Upon arrival at the villa Manuel met us to give us the keys. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved the fact that there were 2 BBQ's to choose from (one for gas, one for coal) and there was a gas tank already there so we could start BBQing straight away. We would gladly stay again if we're back in the area some day. Thanks again!
