When we got to the hotel our reservation was canceled. On my end it still showed our reservation. Everywhere in town was booked now. Luckily the gentleman was able to put us in another room. But it was told it was a king suit with pull out couch. It was not!! Instead if our queen suite with double queen beds and sofa bed it was one king. My whole family had to squeeze into one bed. Makes for a roughy start to a road trip.

Travelers should be aware that this Hampton Inn is definitely showing its age in terms of peeling wallpaper, worn carpeting, and very outdated room furnishings. The extra expense associated with a Hampton Inn stay as compared to the budget hotels that surround this property was not worth it. Additionally, staff appeared to be poorly trained - we were billed twice for the same room and it took multiple calls and almost two weeks to get the erroneous duplicate charge credited back to our card.

Curtains do not open so you can't see out very easy. One fell when I tried to open it they had to come and put that back up. Both night and day managers are great.

Hotel was clean and the parking lot was secure with adequate lighting. The room it’s self was in need of some updating. Staff were friendly and helpful and recommended great nearby Mexican restaurant.

The stay and the hotel were was good. Staff was ok, but the surrounding area wasn't great. Not the safest location to be in, but the hotel and its property were well monitored. Not sure I would stay here again based on the area the hotel was located.

BEWARE: Do not stay here! You’re on your own
This location is horribly under-maintained. The location is NOT SAFE with many homeless (I’m talking by the dozens) lighting fires in the street and trying to follow us into the locked lobby in the evening. There were mystery stains on the bed linens and skirt (photographed), furniture worn and torn (photographed) and even a bench at the foot of the bed that was so worn it nearly broke. The review will not allow me to add a video displaying about an inch of sway. We did not feel comfortable and did not stay the full first evening. Likely a duration of 1Hr. Highly disappointed that the hotel did not refund and hotels.com did not help either. Both the hotel and app went through the motions but ultimately we purchased a non-refundable 3-night stay. This property is 1) not safe 2) dirty 3) misrepresented on hotels.com in description and photos.
