I booked this property 3 months in advance. Followed the 3 pm check in rule. But when I went to check in, I was told that the hotel accidentally overbooked. So, they had no room for me. I asked the receptionist what I should do, she told me to try the “motels” nearby. I was very upset. While I was talking to her, a man came in and checked in and got a room!!! When I complained more, she said her manager is coming and “let see what he can do”. The manager came and finally gave me a room that turned out to be a bigger room that I booked. My point is..if the hotel “accidentally” overbooked, was I my fault? Why didn’t they gave me the other room in the first place. But instead, told me to go to try the motels nearby. Very unpleased.
Then, two days later, I wanted to use the washing machine. I asked the receptionist if I needed coins to operate it. She said they don’t carry cash at the counter and told me to try the gas station next door. I spent 30 min in trying to get the coins. The receptionist had no clue that one could download an app, load the money, and operate the machine!! She is at no use at all!!
