Located in a great position by the church as you drive into the picturesque town of Aldeburgh, this detached house with large garden and parking for four cars, is ideal for a seaside holiday or a corporate stay whilst working in the area. There are two bedrooms with a bathroom on the first floor, and two on the ground floor with a shower room, in addition to a lovely light living room, kitchen, and dining room.
Youâre welcomed into a porch with space for coats and footwear before going in the hallway which has a huge coat cupboard. Doors open to the 1st ground floor bedroom with the 2nd one beyond, leading to the garden; the living room, shower room; and the dining room with the kitchen beyond where thereâs another door. Hard flooring runs throughout the ground floor.
LIVING ROOM
French doors to the garden make this spacious room ideal for indoor/outdoor living. There are a couple of generous sofas, with, coffee tables, a dresser, plus a large TV in the corner.
DINING ROOM
A circular table with five chairs sits beneath the window so you can enjoy dining at home or make the most of the local take-aways. The table can also be extended to seat seven and you'll find other chairs to use in the bedrooms.
KITCHEN
This simple kitchen has everything you need to cater at home with an electric waist height oven and separate grill, a four-ring gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. A large fridge/freezer sits in a recess with four shelves plus veg drawers in the fridge, 3 deep drawers in the freezer.
SHOWER ROOM
Conveniently place for guests in the ground floor bedrooms, the shower cubicle has a hand-held showerhead, thereâs a WC, wash basin, window, and heated towel rail (towels will be provided for all guests).
GROUND FLOOR BEDROOM
With a view of the garden and an electric blind (in all bedrooms), this room has a super king zip and link which takes pride of place here between bedside cabinets, with additional storage in a chest of drawers and an open hanging rail (made as super king unless requested twin). Thereâs a comfy chair and a coffee table so guests can escape for a bit of peace and quiet if they wish. The bed will be made as a double unless you request twins at the time of booking.
GROUND FLOOR GARDEN ROOM
Accessed through the previous room, however there is a door to the garden if youâd rather not disturb your âneighboursâ. This sunny room is furnished with a super king bed with bedside drawers, hooks on the wall, and a small stool.
FIRST FLOOR
Carpeted stairs rise from the hall to the first-floor landing where there are doors to the two bedrooms and the bathroom. All bedrooms have electronically controlled blackout blinds at the windows.
BACK BEDROOM
Sitting quietly at the back of the house, this light and airy bedroom has a super king zip and link bed (made as super king unless requested twin) with bedside drawers on either side and a blanket chest at the foot. Massive wardrobes allow you to unpack and settle in for your stay, and thereâs a little wicker chair and table.
FRONT BEDROOM
Overlooking the garden at the front youâll find another good-sized bedroom with a super-king bed and bedside drawers, a chest of drawers, wardrobe and little chair.
BATHROOM
Convenient for guests in the two first floor bedrooms, youâll find an electric shower over the bath with a shower curtain, a WC, wash basin beneath the window, and a heated towel rail.
OUTSIDE
Church Close is, unsurprisingly, close to the church on the main road before it drops into town so itâs an easy walk to the sea and everything that this wonderful seaside town has to offer â restaurants, cafes, pubs, independent shops, supermarkets, and even an historic cinema.
The location is exceptionally quiet with a lovely big back garden, primarily laid to lawn, a front garden shielded by shrubs and trees, and parking for three to four cars on the driveway, depending upon the size of the vehicle.
This is a residential area so please keep noise to a minimum between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
The super-king size beds in 3 of the bedrooms can be changed to twins upon request at the time of booking.
Whilst there are four bedrooms, all with super-king beds, we market the house as sleeping seven guests as the kitchen and dining room are too tight for eight.
Please do not allow dogs on the furniture or in the bedrooms.
One small/medium well behaved dog is allowed to stay but not allowed on furniture or upstairs, and please ensure you clean up any mess after them in the garden.
