At the end of a long private drive, a spacious country house offering very comfortable accommodation. Situated in an idyllic rural setting the property is nestled in the fertile Gualalhorce valley, and the surrounding lush green hills create a magical backdrop that could only be Spain. MalgrĂ© une arrivĂ©e chaotique indĂ©pendant de la volontĂ© des propriĂ©taires, Elsa s'est avĂ©rĂ©e extrĂȘmement rĂ©active pour corriger le problĂšme. TrĂšs belle villa spacieuse, au calme, conforme aux photographies qui est de plus dotĂ©e d'une immense piscine idĂ©ale pour des enfants en bas Ăąge. Je recommande fortement !

Check in was tricky as the white pillars described on the directions have now been painted terracotta! However, after contacting the host we were able to locate the property. The villa is vast in size, offering comfortable indoor lounge and dining options, comfortable beds and all the appliances needed for a self catering holiday. The outdoor spaces are also brilliant, with shaded areas, luscious grassy area, well landscaped and a perfect sized pool. WiFi was first class, tv options with UK channels and additional channels were appreciated. Plenty of parking and we felt secure. Overall a fantastic experience, we paid additionally for the AC which was needed in August. Triple check rates with the host prior to booking to ensure they are correct as those advertised and additionally checked via message were increased to reflect 2025 prices post reservation. The local town is 15 mins away and has all amenities you need such as fuel/pharmacy/shopping/restaurants and local shops.We would definitely recommend this location for a family holiday and overall we had a perfect week.

Great stay in beautiful surroundings

We had a great stay in this lovely holiday home. Beautiful garden, great pool and calm surroundings. Having fresh lemons from the garden is just great. Communication with the hosts was super fast, friendly and responsive! The house was lovely, although we struggled to get it cool since there is no AC. This was clearly indicated beforehand and in other reviews, but even keeping everything closed during the day, it stayed quite hot inside at night. Bathrooms and kitchen are somewhat outdated. More cutlery and glassware would be nice (only 2 different wine glasses for 8 people for example). Same goes for chairs outside: only 7 sun beds for 8 people. The table on one of the terraces is also too small to seat 8 and we could not move the other one. Some minor gripes preventing a 5 star review, but overall good price/quality ratio and a great stay nonetheless!

Beautiful place

Nice stay for both adults and teenagers (probably for smaller kids too- no steep steps). Spacious and family friendly. Enjoyed the pool, table tennis and the fruit garden. Good atmosphere we all enjoyed it.

Een prachtig gesitueerde Finca

De prachtig gelegen finca heeft een super mooi uitzicht en is ruim van opzet. Bij hoge temperaturen kun je overal fijn in de schaduw komen. Het huis is mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het plukken en het direct persen van de sinaasappels vonden we echt bijzonder. Heel speciaal! Kortom, we hebben genoten van deze bijzondere plek. We hopen nog eens terug te komen!

Wonderful location

Just spent a relaxing week at the Villa with the family. The accomodation, garden and pool are all excelent with a great amount of external space to explore. The Villa is an easy 30 minute drive from Malaga airport. I would highly recommend a stay.

Reaxing holiday with friends

We loved our two weeks here this summer. The property is beautiful with a lovely big pool set in gorgeous grounds. The villa was well equipped and spacious with a choice of areas to relax in both inside and outside. The owner was easy to contact and was very helpful and quick to respond. Shops and restaurants are all easy to get to by car. We were a group of 8 friends and we all really enjoyed our stay here and would happily come again.

Excellent property in quiet country location

A lovely spacious property with an amazing pool. Set in its own fruit orchard with the best oranges ever! Lovely spacious rooms and a wonderful wrap around terrace. Property is set in a lovely rural area but still close to many shops and restaurants in the surrounding area. A car is essential as no amenities within walking distance. As a family of 3 generations we had a fab holiday in the villa.

Stay in Alhaurin area

Excellent large property with plenty of room. Good bedrooms, bathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Nice welcome pack. Excellent sitting room, although we didn't use it much as we enjoyed sitting outside! Plenty of outside seating and eating space with good shade at different times of the day. Lots of outside furniture in excellent condition. Great pool. We had an ongoing minor battle with tiny ants but as long as we didn't leave food sitting out this was no problem. Wasps and mosquitos were also an occasional problem but to be expected. Air conditioning would have made the villa but wasn't a problem. Good location, very private with wonderful views. Located among orange, lemon, lime, fig and nut trees. The citrus juice was particularly welcome. Good communication with owners and an altogether excellent experience. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Heerlijke week gehad

Inchecken ging heel makkelijk dmv sleutel welke al klaar lag. Bij aankomst was de oprit al een cadeautje; fruitbomen, olijfbomen, prachtige tuin en prachtig huis. Zeer ruime woning. We verbleven met opa en oma en onze 4 kinderen. Opa en oma hadden hun eigen gedeelte met aparte badkamer/ slaapkamer. In het midden de ruime woonkamer, eetkamer en keuken en aan de andere kant nog drie slaapkamers en twee badkamers. Hierdoor had ieder toch zijn eigen plekje. Nette schone woning, en van alle gemakken voorzien. Rolluiken heel fijn! fatsoenlijke verduistering. Veel opberg ruimte en kleding kasten. Er zijn twee terrassen, waardoor je de hele dag van het zonnetje kunt genieten. In de ochtend ontbijten aan de ene kant met prachtig uitzicht op de bergen en vers geperste jus d’orange van de sinaasappel bomennuit de tuin. In de middag/ avond het andere terras met het zwembad met daar de middag en ondergaande zon zodat het nog laat lekker warm is. Groot schoon zwembad, tv met meer dan 700 films, tafeltennis tafel en spelletjes. We hebben ons prima vermaakt! Stad op ong 30 minuten rijden en het dorpje op 10 min met supermarkt en leuke restaurants. Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

UN LUGAR IDEAL PARA DESCANSAR

Hemos pasado unas fabulosas vacaciones en esta finca. La casa es muy acogedora y la zona de piscina, césped y chillout son espectaculares. El trato tanto con la propietaria (vía teléfono y whatssapp) como con el cuidador (David) ha sido exquisito. Ideal para desconectar.

Perfect! Large, beautiful, private villa with lovely gardens and pool, surrounded by hills, just a 30 minute drive from Malaga Airport.....what more could you ask for. The Villa itself was clean and very spacious. Gas BBQ. Areas in the shade. Once again....PERFECT! Communication with Elsa and Lousie was second to none. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

11 Night Stay

We had a wonderful 11 night stay over the May half term. The weather was sunny and bright and around 24/25 degrees. The villa is set back on an unmapped road on the sat nav, however the instructions given to you are very clear to find it. The villa is set in a very pretty and wonderful setting. 360 degree view of mountains and green land. There were 2 adults, 3 children and 2 grandparents on our stay and the villa was very spacious and definitely not cramped. The bedrooms were all of a good size and there were plenty of bathrooms. Although there was no air con, we were never hot inside the villa. The pool was a lovely large size and was well kept as were the grounds. The only constructive criticism we had were the stones around the pool were not friendly for bare feet especially with children around, more towels provided would have been good, the bbq required cleaning before we used it and a larger washing line would be good. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend others to stay here and enjoy the lovely setting.

Geweldige villa, prachtige locatie.

De villa ligt, rustig gelegen, in een prachtige tuin omringd door o.a. sinaasappel- en citroenbomen. Elke ochtend dus vers sinaasappelsap bij het ontbijt. De villa is heel ruim opgezet met grote terrassen, ook binnen biedt de villa heel veel ruimte en van alle gemakken voorzien. Kortom, een geweldig huis om met een groep te verblijven! Het nabijgelegen dorp Alhaurin el Grande biedt alle voorzieningen, goede restaurants en winkels in Spaanse sferen.

A quiet relaxed holliday

A beautiful quiet surrounding, large garden and swimmingpool, nice furniture. Very good service, we had a little problem with one of the boilers, Elsa arranged immediately somebody to look after it. We had a very relaxed time. We will certainly use this accommodation again for a holliday. Suggestion: more teatowels and the big cutting knives have to be sharper, but for the rest everything in the kitchen was well equiped, also the furniture in the house.

This villa is lovely and spacious, plenty of room for our family of 6. Peaceful and quiet around the private pool, which is kept very clean. The views are amazing while watching the sunrise on the terrace. Would definitely recommend staying here we will be visiting again soon.

The villa is big enough to accomodate 8 adults comfortably - no bathroom queues, a big dinner table to fit us all, a pool where the more sporty people could even do laps and plenty of space to lie in the sun. Separate fridge for the drinks was also greatly appreciated. The location is perfect - remote enough to be completely private, but close to towns and sights. Being the more adventurous kind of tourists we took several long day trips, including Malaga, Ronda, Gibraltar and Tangier, but always ended the day with a barbecue and pool party at our lovely villa. We also enjoyed the fresh produce from the grounds. Although the oranges were out of season, we still had limes (and an occasional raw orange because we're not good at recognising fruits) for coctails, the sweetest tomatoes and fresh basil for salads and some heavenly figs. Some have mentioned the lack of air conditioning, but for us it wasn't an issue at all. Although it was 37 degrees outside on some days it was still cool indoors, so we didn't even need the fans. Just have to remember to keep the blinds closed during the day. The only downsides I can list is the constant barking of dogs with an occasional donkey joining in. Plus we had trouble locating the clothes rack to dry our laundry before the very last days of our stay. Neither of these things stopped us from having the most amazing time. A fantastic property in a perfectly remote setting

8 of us enjoyed our time at the property for 10 days, and each day was brilliant. Some of us enjoyed the villa and lounged in the various lounging areas, some of us spent all day in the pool and others went on walks to the surrounding countryisde and villages. Everyone was blown away. You won't be disappointed.
