Easy and personal check in. The host was friendly and very welcoming, showed us around and explained how everything works. The place and our room not only looked clean but smelled clean. No smokey nor musty smell. Staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here.

The building is very old and extremely noisy. We stayed on the third floor, and there was no elevator. Carrying luggage up a very narrow staircase, with multiple heavy doors that had to be opened at each floor, was very difficult. The furniture is extremely outdated, and the beds are uncomfortable. We needed a third bed, and the only option provided was an old, spring-based foldable bed that sagged so much you could feel the floor underneath. The owner initially tried to charge an additional $20 for this bed, but agreed to refund it after we complained about the experience. We had booked two nights but ended up staying only one night and decided to return home instead. Checking in is between 4 -8 pm only. If you want to check in an hour early you have to pay $20. If you arrive after 8 pm, you see no receptionist. You pick up your key from the entrance and help yourself in. Don't let the room pictures trick you.

Yes, the room was clean, but a little chilly.The bed was amazing (we didn't want to get out!) The breakfast was delicious, the staff was very courteous and accommodating. The little kitchen was very cute and well equipped. We would definitely come back ♥️

I did not like the room location, 3rd floor. The stairs are not really senior people friendly as the steps are too narrow. Would have preferred much better to have been given the same room on the first floor that we stayed in during our first visit.
