Located in the popular fishing village of Craster, just off the beaten track, on a quiet lane behind Robson's Smokery, famous for its Craster Kippers, this historic mid-terraced stone cottage was formerly a school house, and has the benefit of being within a stone's throw of the harbour front, village art gallery, cafe and even the pub. If you’d like to leave your car parked up at the cottage and take a longer walk, we recommend visiting Dunstanburgh Castle along the coastal path or perhaps Howick to the south of the village.
This characterful cottage has been renovated to the highest standards and yet retains so much of its original charm, with exposed beams and the original stone inglenook fireplace. The blues, whites and greys of the decor reflect a coastal theme and the logburner will keep you cosy in the cooler months.
The garden outside is a gorgeous little suntrap and a lovely place to sit in the evening with a nice glass of something cold while dinner is cooked on the barbeque!
