I found home clean and comfortable with securely fenced yard for pet. Kitchen was well stocked with pans, glassware, etc for preparing and eating meals. Couch was very comfy for watching the big screen projector TV. Location allowed easy access to Davis Mountains, McDonald Observatory for Star Watching party, Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center, Marathon and Marfa. Owner was very responsive to questions we had. Our stay was enjoyable

Great escape

Great stay at the home theater house. It was clean and well stocked. It was a great location for all of our site seeing......big bend, fort davis, marfa, and of course alpine. The host was very attentive and checked on us regularly.

The Movie House

My husband and I stayed at THE perfect house for our Big Bend vacation. It was in the black sky area to watch the stars every night. Another big plus was the projector, big screen and wi-fi, as we were not expecting movies, too. We would highly recommend travelers stay. Oh, the bed was sooooo comfy, and more. Perfecto!

Vacation home was VERY nice. ONE thing that was very troubling...the house was a "Smart" house. The heat at night was NOT controlled by us. It dropped down to 65 degrees each night & when we raised it, the heat kicked back to 65 degrees. THAT was not right.

The Best

We had an amazing time. This is the perfect place to unwind after hiking at Big Bend or exploring West Texas. The house was well stocked with cooking essentials and even pet food bowls, a washer and dryer and everyone's favorite giant tv with the most comfortable couch. Definitely recommend if you are visiting the area.

Great home base to explore big bend

The Alpine home theater house was perfect for exploring Big Bend, Marfa, Big Bend Ranch state park (don’t skip it!). Alpine is a great town with gas, food, groceries and anything else you need for your trip. It’s about an hour to an hour and a half to the national park, state park, and ft. Davis. If you can get a Star party in at the observatory, Do it! House was great for 5 of us and 2 small dogs. Backyard was very secure. Neighbors were nice. (Even a few fireworks from neighbors on New Year’s Eve, but short and sweet and right at midnight). The house was super comfortable. Watch out, the couches and beds are so comfy that you won’t want to leave, but there is so much to explore. Communication with Justin was super easy too. Book it and enjoy.

Great house!

This house has just about everything you could ask for. Exceptionally clean, great bed, good pillows. Well stocked with supplies. Justin even provided doggy bowls and the largest doggie door I've ever seen. The backyard is completely fenced and done so well that no dog could escape! Justin truly thought of everything. Even wireless chargers for our phones. I had to work a couple of days so the office area was very much appreciated. The Wi-Fi was great. We will definitely stay here again! Thanks Justin!

Beautiful home

Justin is on top of responding to questions. The house is well laid out, spacious and clean. As described and shown. The internet is the same I use and IMO the best available. We had an issue with our stay that Justin responded to in a very timely manner and resolved. Would stay again if we are ever back in the alpine area.

A very comfortable house. The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. It had everything that we needed. We enjoyed watching the large projector tv. The fenced in back yard was great for our little Zoe. We would recommend this house to anyone staying in Alpine, Texas.
