The resort is nicely maintained and the manager and staff were friendly though some of them couldn't speak English well and it was a bit hard to communicate since I don't speak French at all. There is only one restaurant and a bit pricy but they change their dinner menu everyday and the quality of the food is pretty good. There is beach with sharrow water but too many sea cucumber to actually dip yourself in the water. I stayed in the overwater bungalow and I could snorkel right there but it may not be red safe for children. The room is well maintained but you should make sure not to bring in foods to avoid ants coming into the room. Overall, very satisfied.
Great place to get away from it all. Be prepared for the cost of the dinner - you don't have any other places to go. The cost is similar to restaurants in Papeete. We found that ordering a la carte was better than going with the meal plan available as we could never eat three courses on any of the nights that we stayed. The overwater bungalows are fantastic and worth the extra money especially if you like to snorkel.
An uforgettable stay, thanks to the friendly and hospitable staff at the hotel. The hotel in itself is not extraordinary, but the location and the people who work there are! This is not a sterile resort with international staff, but a resort with local people and a local touch, which gives you a glimpse of Polynesia. Great! I only wish they could speak English and that we could stay longer!
