Casa do Pedro is one of four lodgings that make up Agroturismo Quinta de Travancela. This rural tourism accommodation, surrounded by serene natural and agricultural landscapes, also includes an outdoor saltwater swimming pool, a games room with access to a vending machine, and private parking.

This entire section is the oldest part of the farm and dates back to the late 18th century. The lodgings are former caretakers' houses, which have been remodelled and restored to provide maximum comfort for our guests.

Each lodging is unique, with no two alike, and their names are intrinsically linked to their history.

Casa do Pedro, as the name suggests, was the home of the farm's caretaker, named Pedro.

With only one floor, this accommodation has one bedroom with two single beds and another bedroom with one double bed and an extra bed. It also has a bathroom shared by the two bedrooms, a living/dining room with a wood-burning stove and a fully equipped kitchen. It has a separate entrance, air conditioning in the bedrooms and a private terrace with direct access. It can accommodate up to five guests.

Quinta de Travancela is a rural tourism spot in northern Portugal, in the municipality of Amarante, more precisely in the parish of Mancelos, and is ideal for those looking to spend a few days or a holiday in a peaceful environment in contact with nature.

This strategic location allows our guests not only to be very close to the beautiful city of Amarante, but also to quickly reach the main tourist attractions in northern Portugal. The cities of Porto, Guimarães, Braga and even the Alto Douro Wine Region are approximately 30 minutes away from this small rural tourism spot in Amarante.

Quinta de Travancela is located in the heart of the Baixo Tâmega and Vale do Sousa region, at the centre of two routes that are very popular with lovers of cultural tourism: the Romanesque Route and the Vinho Verde Route, about 30 minutes from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (Porto) and about 5 minutes from the A4 and A11 motorways, as well as the Vila Meã (Amarante) and Caíde de Rei (Lousada) railway stations.

For lovers of nature tourism and sports, Quinta de Travancela offers not only unique moments due to its magnificent surroundings, but also due to its proximity to the Marão, Alvão and Aboboreira mountains, the Tâmega and Douro rivers, and the existence of the Tâmega Line Ecopiste, which connects Amarante to Cabeceiras de Basto.

It should be noted that our location allows you to be close to the thermal baths of Termas de Amarante and popular attractions such as Amarante Water Park, the largest mountain water park in the Iberian Peninsula, Amarante Golf Course and Magikland (theme park in Penafiel).
