Quaysiders apartments are perfect for couples and families looking for high quality accommodation in a central location. They are ideal for exploring the local towns of Grasmere and Windermere as well as a great starting point for many of the iconic fells and walking routes in the South Lakes. Straight from the door you can walk to Stockghyll Falls and Wansfell, or a short drive brings you to Great Langdale and Little Langdale, some of the most popular starting points for serious fell walkers. You couldnât be closer to the action as just across the road you can board the Windermere steamers to Bowness-on-Windermere and Lakeside at the Southern end of Lake Windermere where you can pick up the Lakeside to Haverthwaite Steam Railway.
Ambleside has an abundance of fantastic eateries including many gastro pubs and fine dining options. Youâll find a good number of independent cafĂ©s, delis, and bars. You will find a good range of shops from popular high street names and an array of outdoor suppliers.
