Great location by Fort Amer and Meera Mandir but the "hotel" is definitely not as nice as in the pictures. Also, the fort view room (reason i chose this place) that i booked in advance was given to someone else while I was give a small, subpar, windowless room instead.

Rooms are very clean and the staff is amazing and very helpful…you can ask them for anything in Jaipur and they will help you out…you will feel very welcomed ..great hospitality..property is very beautiful and amazing …most important if you plan to visit Amber palace you must stay here ..as this is the nearest property to Amber Palace…Amazing views of Amber palace and mountains from the roof …property also organise heritage walks and cultural walks for us…

What can I say? Hotel- charming! Room- gorgeous! Staff- so helpful! Food- amazing! Location- couldn’t have been better for visiting the Amer Fort! We had the perfect Christmas vacation trip to Jaipur thanks to the staff at House of Amer. High recommendation!

The price we paid for this property was not all justified. I would rate it at 1 star only but the second star is for the efforts and hospitality of the staff who tried their best to make us comfortable. Property is well renovated, however there are serious concerns with the location of the property. Ubers did not pick us from the property because it is a one-way to the amer fort. Multiple Ubers canceled on us the ones that did accept asked 3X of the price and required us to walk to the main road which is 15 mins away. That walk is extremely unpleasant with exposed sewage, garbage, cattle, and a strong foul smell of cow dung. At night there were dogs barking out and the noise cancellation was non-existent which meant we heard everything happening outside. The listing photos are misleading they highlight the interiors but completely omit the external surroundings, which play a huge role in the overall experience. And this was the key reason of our disappointment. I would not stay here again, and I’m sharing this so future guests can have realistic expectations. If you’re staying just one night and want early access to Amer Fort before traffic builds, it might work but not otherwise.
