This property offers the basic amenities, is very clean, and pleasant. The outside entry to the building locks after a certain time, and our key card wasn’t working properly, but the attendant didn’t mind us waking her up to help us. No breakfast because of COVID, but otherwise everything was fine.

Messed up my room reservations, called me at 7:28 AM Said Edxpedia was useless, when in fact it was the idiot owner. I had to get 2 Expedia Agents to help me get a refund AFTER he cancelled room and then said no refund. DO NOT STAY HERE.

marginal but clean

The room was clean and normal for the chain. The hallway had a strange odor. They cancelled my reservation by calling me while I was flying. The attendant(owner) found and reinstated my reservation from hotels.com. My hotels.com reservation was at a higher rate than their normal daily rate. I think it was overpriced for a super 8 style hotel with the pool closed and no breakfast.

Happy with location proximity to Hwy 30. Would have liked the continental breakfast or coffee that was supposed to be a perk but not offered while I was there due to "covid". I think coffee should still be an option in individual rooms. I also think a break in cost should be given since breakfast was NOT provided yet still promoted on their website.

Pillows were very hard and difficult with which to sleep. Heater was noisy ad kept us awake at night. Perhaps a little tender care on those items could make someone else's stay a little more pleasant.

Service was terrible. We arrived late at night after working the fair and the receptionist seemed very upset right away. She yelled at us when we asked if there was a double room available (we had booked a king by accident). Figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask, but apparently this is a very sensitive subject. Thankfully, I probably won’t be back in Nevada, Iowa for a long time and won’t need to stay here again.
