An excellent location that is only two-blocks from the Central Train Station. We appreciated the early check-in option, as we flew through the night and landed in Amsterdam in the morning.

Ideal location just a few minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station, lots of places to eat and drink along the road, main tramline right outside the hotel taking you to Museumplein and other locations. Amazing breakfast, great value for money, try the pancakes! Would definitely stay here again.

Very small twin room, shower cubicle was very tight with awkward doors on which we had to squeeze in sideways! Air conditioning didn’t work. Clean enough although hair was on floor and stuck on bathroom door upon check in.

I love the location of the Avenue Hotel. It is a short walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station and in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I was reluctant to book this hotel because of the negative reviews. I cannot understand them. We had a triple room which was nice and big, and had really comfortable beds and nice linens. Our room was very clean. The lobby is actually quite beautiful. I know it’s expensive but everything in Amsterdam is expensive and this hotel is better value than most. I would stay here the next time I come to Amsterdam. And, as everyone has said, it’s in an amazing location. A very short, easy walk from the train station.

We shared a room with 5 family members. My only complaint would be softer/flatter pillows and a more comfortable mattress. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast was good except for the scrambled eggs and mini sausages.You can feel safe as it’s next door to the police station.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Great location, close to train station 6 min walk and very handy for cafes, restaurants bars , shopping. The staff could not have been more helpful especially Morena who was super informative with what we should do and see. The room was clean , no complaints , not the biggest we have stayed in however not a lot a time spent in the room. We would recommend this hotel, Great Location

The shower was weird and there was nothing stopping water from leaking out onto the floor. The room was small but adequate . The location was great. Walkable to many attractions.

The bed was tiny. It wasn’t big enough for me to turn over. I did not have a good nights sleep. Also I sent 1 one small bag of laundry to be cleaned. Went it came back they charged me 199 euros or 232 American. This was highway robbery. This is was not fair and I would never recommend this place again
