Lovely hotel to stay in. It wasn’t quite as luxurious as the photos suggested. All the staff were very professional, polite and helpful. The vegan options could be improved, especially when they have a sign saying ask for plant-based options but the chefs were either confused or didn’t have much to offer. They tried their best though.

An amazing hotel and a must stay. Only one negative Only one lady at breakfast cleaning tables. Asked for my table to have previous people cups and plates to be removed but they didn’t. Will definitely stay here again

SAIL 2025 AMSTERDAM - this hotel is the IDEAL location as it is ground zero, the heart of the event! I had a superior canal room and the event was at my front door, the main orchestra stage is on property as is a perfect view of the fireworks. LOVE YOU HOTEL JAKARTA - your staff is top notch too.

Beautiful hotel, the best breakfast selection but eco air conditioning not adequate in 31 degree heat. Everything else was great, expect an industrial, quirky dockside location in a really lovely part of Amsterdam

Over the years, I have stayed at several different hotels in Amsterdam, and Hotel Jakarta is my favorite. The staff are exceptionally kind and caring. The amenities: pool, spa, sauna, exercise room, and 8th floor bar overlooking the water, an ideal location to see the sunset, are fantastic! The food is delicious and priced fairly. The ambience is relaxed and elegant. My bedroom was larger than most other hotels, and included both a bathtub and a shower. Also, I had a terrace which overlooked the calm waterway. I will definitely be returning to this magnificent hotel in the near future!

We visited when it was 85°. The hotel is eco-friendly and does not have air conditioning. It instead has a cooling system through the floor, which could not keep up. Other than that, we had a great experience. We loved the pool and the breakfast. Staff were very accommodating.

Fabulous hotel with an Indonesian thdms...light and green public spaces. We had a balcony room with a bath. Bed was super comfy...great walk in shower. The hotel hs a lovely pool too. Great rooftop bar for the evenings. Amazing breakfast offering included in cost.

The bedding, pillows etc were not comfortable at all. During heat over 30 degrees, poor temperature regulation in the room (no A/C). No communication prior to arrival was given regarding the bridge closure linking the hotel closer to the city centre resulting in much longer travel in order to experience the city
