We had a great stay at Ibis. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean comfortable rooms but a little bit tight to our liking especially the bathroom. But overall a nice stay.

It was convenient to get to and from the ‘city centre’. Cab drivers from the station are very fraudulent so best to use local transport.

Getting to the hotel from the airport was simple and efficient, the train from Schipol airport to the city centre then the GVB 22 bus drops you right outside. The staff were outstanding, checking in and out was hassle free and I was given advice on the city, tips and any query I had the staff at Ibis were professional and helpful. The hotel location was ideal for me as it was quiet and public transport in the city is brilliant, the 22 bus was a God send, a Metro station is very close by and Sloterdejk train station is also within walking distance. Burger King is next door to the hotel and you can't go wrong with it, food and prices were both decent and staff were lovely. The hotel itself is nice, great sustainable initiatives taken, my room was standard, the bathroom was small and curved like a pod, interestingly compact but did the job. Breakfast area and buffet was good, it had the things I like, ample seating and attentive staff. The only small things I would say the hotel may need to look into are, the shower screen didn't have a seal at the bottom therefore water often splashed out of the cubicle and felt that I was wasting towels to dry it up which isn't very sustainable. I might have been unlucky but the wi-fi in my room was weak, I failed to get a good connection most of the time however it was a short break therefore not much of an issue. Overall I would recommend this hotel, I had a pleasant stay and thank you for making me feel welcome.

The property was very nice, it was clean, it was friendly, although there were some issues with our bed and bathroom, the bed had a stain on it by the heads, and the toilet had an unpleasant odor in it. The staff were accommodating and pleasant to work with, and also there is a Burger King right beside the hotel.

This was my third stay at this property and I find it clean comfortable and with great staff. Bus service to the city centre or to the train station is every 10 minutes and is very quick to either destination

Odd people wandering about the area, we even had panhandlers come up to us while sitting at tables outside the property asking for money. Others were obviously sizing us up to see if we were gullible (which we are not). Very unpleasant!
