A lovely hotel staff with lots of friendly young people. The NH company has to invest in soundproofing the rooms. Not for the noise phobic traveler, otherwise very clean and central.

Food was excellent as well as the staff very kind. Bed was ok and room space a little small for 2 people. Personnel (staff) were great in all areas. Location is great.

Avoid.Booked 6 months ahead and was given a dungeon room at the back of the hotel. Lift to1st floor then down 2 flights of stairs with luggage in tow. Dark cold room with TWIN beds. I booked a double. Went to front desk and asked for a double in a room with natural light (like on the website). Gave me another room but key didn't work twice. Also took dungeon room key from me before I could take my belongings. 2 couples (friends) who booked after me had rooms upper floors with coffee machines (I didnt have one). At checkout mentioned experience. Girl said 'oh no' when I mentioned the 1st room. Is it because I'm a solo traveller and we don't rate/matter? Farcical!

We had an early arrival from our flight and they had our rooms ready which we greatly appreciated. Front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations and directions. Even gave us an adapter to us as ours wasn't working.

The hotel is really nice with great service. Our room was a bit small, but comfortable. The area is lively and safe. People tend to congregate in Rembrandtplein so there was street noise until very late at night

Very comfortable room, bed and air conditioner. Location very walkable to canals, trams, dining and coffee. Very helpful front desk staff…would recommend. Wish the onsite restaurant served later than 10:30am

Was lucky enough to have the best room in the hotel. Largest room on 4th floor. Very comfortable. Noisy all night but you need to expect that. Room is clean and well appointed. Service was excellent. Breakfast was extra and expensive but decent. Very good variety
