Alright stay.

It was, truly, just okay. Not bad, by any means. I was not unsatisfied, but I wasn't wowed. For a hotel of this calibre, I'd expect more. Breakfast was decent. A good spread. However, the scrambled eggs on the line were not cooked consistently or, honestly, deliciously, day-to-day (2 night stay). The room change was nice, but cosmetic only. For instance - after the first night's room change, the coffee in the room was not replaced, however the toilet paper in the bathroom had been folded nicely. Overall, face value was lovely. Nice place to stay, comfortable, quiet. However, some nicer comfort touches would be appreciated. Probably won't stay here again, but I wouldn't say no if someone asked if it was a good place to stay.

the best part of the hotel is the location. situated just 6 minutes walk from the Dam square and its attractions. its in a quiet street. the central station and the boat tour docks are all within walkable distance. lots of dining options nearby. The expedia site mentions premium rooms to be 323 sq ft. We had booked 4 premium rooms but only two seemed to be of 323 sq. ft. we had to talk to the reception and then they changed one of the two small rooms to a bigger one. However, we had to compromise for one room and stay in the smaller room. Javier at reception was very co-operative and helpful and tried to get us a bigger room but it seems the hotel was full.

Our room was very comfortable and roomy. I loved the floor to ceiling windows. The black out curtains were great for sleeping in. The breakfast was outstanding. The hotel is located in the heart of everything with an easy walk to museums, restaurants, Anne Frank, and around the corner from the ted light district. Ww felt very safe.
