The front door code keypad doesn’t work, the room was in the basement down 3 flights of stairs, and is literally the width of a bed. There were the usual basic amenities like coffee, tea, iron, but literally not enough space to use it… I could hear anyone who passed in the hallway clearly. I would say this was overpriced.

The location was excellent. Its near the Van Gogh Museum and a beautiful park. However, the room was average or below. The duvet had some stains. The door only has a chain on the inside, and the deadbolt does not work. When i asked about it, i was told it was for safety reasons. However, other hotels have both the chain and a deadbolt and therefore, i would not stay there again for that reason.

Located right next to Vondelpark. I enjoyed a walk in the morning while I stayed here and go for a coffee. There are plenty of public transportation in walking distance. The amenities at the hotel is very basic. The beds were comfortable but the bathroom could use some updates.

Across the street from Vondel Park. Near Rijks and Van Gogh museums. Many restaurants and upscale shopping nearby. Not a new facility, but it was clean and has elevators (once you get your luggage up the front steps). Bed was very comfortable. Room layout was strange and smallish. Quiet street with little or no traffic. Very secure facility. Must use code to get inside at all hours. Staff was very friendly and helped with restaurant choices. No breakfast available in the hotel, but there is a coffee bar in the lobby. Not the Hilton, but I would stay there again.

Really great location - In a lovely area with loads of nice cafes/restaurants around, and transport options. The room was perfect for us, good size/clean, and the reception staff were lovely!

The location was convenient. Entering pin in the front door was very difficult and had to ring bell for someone to open the door for you. Note to older folks that it has steps and it's hard to open front door. We stayed at this place for a week. There is not cleaning services that comes in daily - we asked for one in the middle of the week! Jacuzzi style bathtub in the bathroom was not functioning.

Chilly shower initially.

The staff was very helpful, but I was not forceful enough in my complaint that the order was only lukewarm in the shower, but boiling hot in the sink. After I made a complaint about the temperature of the shower, the problem was remedied quickly. The lights did not work for the ceiling, but that situation was also remedied promptly upon the return of the maintenance person two days after we checked in on a weekend which was the King‘s birthday weekend. The location was excellent, and the staff was very accommodating. I should also point out that when I told the staff that the ceiling lights weren’t working, they came with me to confirm that they weren’t working and supplied a pole lamp to remedy the situation until the maintenance person arrived a couple of days later. I would certainly stay in this establishment if I return to Amsterdam.

Convenient location. Main issue is a neighbor in apartment next door playing blaring music 2 floors down in their yard until 9:00. Staff very helpful with checking bags in early before room was ready and after early checkout so we could go to Rijksmuseum.
Loved the heated bathroom floor. Armour was either an antique or in poor condition.

I did not like there were no refrigerator in the room - we were told it was a first come, first serve situation. No privacy for the shower. TV did not offer movies. No available ice. Poor presentation considering it is a Marriott Hotel. Would not stay again and would not recommend.
