Great shuttle

Everything in Alaska is old. But this hotel is close to the train station and shuttles you to the airport, downtown or the train. Pretty sweet!

First off the rental company said my hotel was is the worse area of Anchorage. Second it’s a motel with not much between you and the folks outside. The night I stayed I heard screaming and gun shots. The room I can only say was awful.

We picked this place because they had a shuttle and the rental car would be closed when we got there-unfortunatelly our flights got moved up and we didnt have a car for about 18 hours. The place is not modern, but don't let that deter you-it was very clean, we felt safe. It is in a rundown area-but to be honest most of anchorage seems run down. The breakfast was great (especially without a vehicle-it was eggs, potatoes, sausage, muffins, cereal, etc.). The shuttle driver was very nice and took us to a place for dinner and shopping and back to get our car when it was ready.
