Make yourself at home in this spacious two-bedroom townhouse-style apartment in South Anchorage. Conveniently positioned near Dimond Boulevard and Jewel Lake Road, the property is a great choice for travelers who value easy access to shopping, restaurants, everyday conveniences, and Anchorage International Airport.

The apartment spans the second and third levels of the building and sleeps up to four guests. Each bedroom has a queen bed, ample closet and drawer space, and comfortable furnishings. The full bathroom is located on the bedroom level and features a double vanity.

Downstairs, you'll find the kitchen, dining area, living room, and second bedroom. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, and other basic necessities. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hand soap are provided, along with extra towels, pillows, and blankets.

Additional conveniences include reliable WiFi, internet TV, one parking space, and on-site laundry available for $1 per load.

One of the property's biggest advantages is its location. You're approximately 4.5 miles from Anchorage International Airport and close to South Anchorage's major shopping district. Dimond Center Mall, Costco, Walmart, Fred Meyer, Best Buy, Michaels, Petco, and other retailers are nearby. There are also numerous restaurants and entertainment options in the area.

For outdoor recreation, Campbell Creek Trail is nearby. If you're visiting Anchorage to prepare for an Alaska adventure, this is also a convenient place to stock up on supplies before heading onward.

The property uses self check-in, so late arrivals are no problem. Your lockbox code will be provided a few days before arrival. Standard check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available for a $50 fee.

Overall we were very happy with the place. Good location, good beds and pillows, plenty of room. A few things inside could use a little work but we were very satisfied for the price.

Nice place to stay while I visited my son who lives 2 blocks away. The place looks exactly like pictures. Simple but nice and clean. Close to shopping, airport and highway. Exactly what I needed.

We absolutely enjoyed staying here. Very convenient to shopping. This apartment was supplied with anything we needed. Any issues were immediately addressed and dealt with. Very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Midnight Sun review

We stayed at Midnight Sun for 1 week while visiting our daughter. Kelli was helpful with any questions and the house was exactly as stated...it was super comfy and very well stocked with anything you would need! Also easy to find in a quiet and safe neighborhood. :-) We would definitely stay here again.

The rental was clean and conveniently located. It could use some TLC and updating. The shower was confusing. I would also recommend having some bottled water and coffee at least for travelers. It was fine for the night.

The unit was clean. I liked that the bathroom had plenty of toilet paper and was stocked with body wash, hand soap and shampoo. The kitchen was adequately stocked with two clean towels, a dish scrubber, detergent and a dish washer. I could vaguely hear the planes taking off from the airport which is only a few miles away. However, I use a sound machine at night anyway. My one complaint is that the sidewalk wasn't cleared so it was partly snow and ice covered. I was really concerned

Above and Beyond!

Kelli was very responsive, friendly and helpful! I am so grateful for early check-in and that when I needed to add an extra night, I was offered the same rate I was paying, even though the listed price was much higher. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it! Thank you so much!!!

Is part of a large home divided into several apartments. Only access is via an external, old wooden staircase.This portion is a large 2 level, with full kitchen downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs. Place is clean and appropriately furnished. 2nd bedroom has lousy mattress and flimsy, insufficient, blackout curtains. Air conditioning didn't seem to work. Plenty of on site parking.

Laundry

Laundry room door did not operate correctly. Customer tried multiple times to tell the owners the keys would not unlock it. Through text communications she told me to do everything you shouldn’t have to do to unlock a door and insinuated that I don’t know what I am doing. After all of that she told me she would try to get another tenant to let me in but that was the “best she could do at the moment. When I tried to talk to her on the phone, she cut me off. I told her that I was talking and let please let me finish. She hung up on me. I eventually was able to use the key to get in but almost broke the key off in the lock. There was clearly something wrong with it. In the end I never once received an apology for the way she treated the situation or me. Would have been 5 stars until the last day. Should be 0 stars for how she treated the situation.
