THE HOUSE

We love our home! The property is spacious and has a contemporary feel. You can hear the birds sing softly in the morning, relax in the hammock at the bottom of the garden or have a barbecue with friends or family.

THE MAIN ROOM

Whether after a hot day at the beach, an exciting "ocean safari" or a stunning trail - our spacious queen size home with a large dream mattress and built-in suit will make you feel at home - with no bags in sight!

THE BUNCHES

In the Master Bedroom you will find a special feature of our home. When renovating the house, we converted an inconvenient storage area into fantastic horizontal bunk beds. Although we love the perspective and feeling up there, this area was designed with children up to 16 in mind. If you disagree, we won't tell anyone ...

THE FAMILY ROOM

This will probably be your first stop when you arrive at your new home. For us personally, this is one of the most special areas in the house. It brings together excellent natural light, a comfortable corner sofa, a 55-inch 4K TV, a dining table and a special area on the mezzanine.

THE MEZANINE (LOFT)

This fantastic space is very flexible. Its wooden floor and generous amount of blankets, pillows and puffs - on a queen size futon mattress - make it the perfect relaxation area * or * a spare room for the youngest. One way or another - you will love the experience!

THE KITCHEN

For us, food is very important - not just for the food itself but for the occasion. Therefore, our kitchen is a real kitchen, with everything you need to cook your meals, if you want. Includes an electric oven, induction hob, fridge, microwave, cookware and various other utensils. Salt and pepper are on the house!

THE BATHROOM

There is no way to replace an immersion bath. Our bathroom is equipped with a spacious bathtub and an adjustable shower column. But please remember that there is a lot to see on the island too! The bidet is not so addictive, but it is also quite practical.

THE COURTYARD

It is possible that this will be the space that you will remember the most! We lost track of the evenings spent here with friends and family under the sunset and starry sky. That perfect barbecue, crispy bread or the famous rump - are all possible at "Palheiro da Avó". This outdoor kitchen has a barbecue, wood oven and wood stove, along with a small dishwasher with hot water. We provide a table and chairs for 6 people and local partnerships that allow you to see how some of the most traditional dishes from Terceira are prepared, using the authentic wood oven.

PROPERTY

On the right side of the house there is an access ramp where you can park up to 3 cars inside the property. The front of the house has a beautiful garden with several trees and plants, including an endemic species, only found in the Azores. We insist that you walk on the grass!
