While this is not as convenient to UM as Hampton Inn North, it is in better condition and not too far away from campus. Definitely recommend.

Not only was our room sticky, it was also falling apart. Drywall tape was falling off the ceiling. The bathroom door would not open and close properly because it would get caught dragging on the floor. The bathroom tile did not meet up with the wall. It also did not have a vent fan. The entire hotel felt like it was leaning. Everything needed to be resealed. There were stains and dirt on the room chair. The staff shut the doors to tge breakfast area while people were still getting food. If we could have gotten our money back we would have went elsewhere. If you like sticky, disgusting hotels that cost that of a decent one, this is the hotel for you.

This is our go-to place when in Ann Arbor. It's your typical Hampton. Breakfast is good. My only complaint is the coffee is a bit weak. Generally, its very quiet, but you can hear I94 a bit if staying on that side of the hotel. This last trip was the first time i stayed on that side of the hotel. It was not loud enough to bother me but if muffled traffic noise would bother you, ask for a room facing the parking lot.
