Very Nice Property in an Excellent Location
This is a very nice property ideal for a large family or maybe 3 couples. Three fishermen cottages from the mid-1700s have been converted to make this spectacular house with incredible views over the Firth of Forth. It has been tastefully renovated and is well equipped.
We were there with 7 people, two children 4 & 7, one young adult, and two couples. It worked very well for us.
The only slightly negative thing I had to say was the loft room has a toilet but no shower and the kitchen area was difficult to heat. The rest of the house was toasty, the bathrooms were very nicely renovated, and the living room had views that everyone will appreciate.
Fife Cottages communicated well, even to the point of reaching out to let us know that the house was ready early if we wanted to access it before the regular time.
There are a few supermarket options within a 10 minute drive and several eating options within a 5 minute walk. I would recommend the âChip-Shopâ in the harbour area which also doubles as the local pub, restaurant, local gathering place. Great atmosphere and excellent service. There is also a very nice upmarket restaurant and a bakery a short walk up the hill.
The Fife Coastal Path passes right behind the house and makes for excellent walks with great views.
