Wonderful Stay with Thoughtful Hosts!

John and Rebecca were amazing hosts! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home, every little detail was taken care of. The homemade muffins were such a sweet and delicious touch! We’ll definitely be staying here again if we’re back in the area. Highly recommend!

All the amenities just like your own home.

Went for a 16u baseball tournament at Lakepoint. Lakepoint was only 25 mins from this location and this location was actually a reasonable drive to all the other fields they schedule us at as well. Friendly on site owners. Bigger cities are also 20 mins in any direction when you need restaurants/shops/groceries etc. Definitely would book again.

Country Convenience

We really enjoyed our stay. Came in for a Lakepoint baseball tournament. We were about 25 mins away from Lakepoint. We also attended an Atlanta Braves game and Rome Braves game during our stay. Rome is only about 9 miles away with lots of restaurants. The property has a nice pond for fishing and a swimming pool. The property was clean and setup well for guests. Pet Friendly property. The owners are very friendly and will take care of any questions/needs you may have.

Perfect for our needs

We were doing a post-op surgery rehab for the week. Easy entrance, and comfy lounge chair made it perfect for us. Ability to have our dogs for comfort was great also. The owners upstairs were not an issue, other than footsteps, and the muffins were a nice touch.

Great stay

Hosts were great! We were getting married in Rome at Berry so we rented for the weekend. Upon arrival, we found that Rebecca had made the most adorable bride, groom, & guests cookies for us which were absolutely wonderful. She also made homemade blueberry muffins which were crazy good! On the day of our wedding, we discovered a large tree was across the road blocking the route to the main road. The county wouldn’t come out to remove it so the owner & his grandson removed it & we were able to make it to the church on time! Great folks!

It was a great place to relax and get away for a few days. The place was very clean and had everything you needed. The blueberry muffins were very welcoming! We enjoyed the pool and the setting by the woods was perfect!

Wonderful getaway

This house was perfect for our family of 6. From swimming, fishing, playing soccer & baseball in the yard, and grilling out there was nothing we would have changed. Being in the lower level of a house shared by the homeowners made me nervous since I do have children but I didn't feel like we were imposing or bothering them. The homemade muffins upon arrival were amazing and my kids are still asking me to make more just like them. It was perfect distance from our baseball tournament in Lake Point. All appliances worked well and having 3 televisions made for happy kids in the evening. We definitely look forward to staying here again if we are back in the area. The homeowners are so friendly and made us feel right at home before, during, and after our stay. Do not hesitate to book here, you will not be disappointed!

Peaceful Getaway

Property is perfect for family of 6. We were in town for baseball at Lakepoint. Location is in a country setting away from the crowds. Took us about 25 minutes to the ball field but worth it. Felt safer than any travel we had done. Beautiful setting overlooking water that my grandsons enjoyed fishing. Beautiful pool that was a short walk away that was a few days from opening. Can’t wait until next time to use it. Owners were great and the homemade blueberry muffins were great. We will definitely try to stay again any time available when in the area.

Super Experience - Easily 5 stars

This property was in a safe, quiet area with plenty of space both inside and outside. The hosts were friendly and helpful - they felt like great neighbors! The muffins were amazing - I should have asked if Rebecca shares her recipe! We stayed for a week and a half and would definitely stay here again. There is no reason anyone should leave less than 5 stars.

Perfect for our girls weekend

The place is so much larger than appears in the pictures. It was very clean. Rarely saw anyone else so it felt like a secluded retreat. We loved the pool and seating on the deck overlooking the pond. Owner was quick with communication and very kind. Planning on making it a yearly girls weekend.

Perfect space for our family of 5

This was a great home away from home for a week for us during our son's baseball tournament. Much better space than 2 hotel rooms would have provided. Very relaxing to sit out back on the rocking chairs and look out over the lake. Beautiful pool and pavillion. Easy communication with hosts and Rebecca's homemade blueberry muffins (fresh picked blueberries from property) are to die for! Parking was so convenient! Highly recommended!

Baseball Tournament

This was a great choice for any group ranging from 2-6 people. Accommodations were awesome! Wonderful pool with pond for fishing. Grill and fire pit were used constantly. Privacy and space to spread out both inside and out. Rebecca and John couldn’t have been better hosts. Loved it!

Deceiving Property Description

First of all. When I schedule a vacation it is around the pool. That is just my thing. The description of property was deceiving for sure. By the pictures and description I assumed the pool was right out the back door. No it was a 3 minute drive to the property owners house which was her private personal pool. Which would have been ok if I had known that. If it was stated short drive to pool I would have moved on to looking for another rental. This is just my personal thing I want o vacation. To be able to walk out to the pool. Don't get me wrong the pool was nice just failed to mention you had to drive to it and forget walking way to far and up hill. Let me also add that the 1 acre lake was a small muddy pond. I just feel for the price I paid the descriptions should have been correct. The picture of the pool does not show the house so it makes it look like it is at the property you are staying at. Again this is my preference for the pool when I vacation and should have the facts of the location because there are plenty others I could have rented. I was not stay here for an event or anything like that I specifically rented this place for the pool and 1 acre lake which is no where near an acre. Apartment was nice and clean. The pool was nice and clean. I just would have not stayed here if I had known how far away the pool was.

It's the little things!

The trip was planned to celebrate an early Christmas with family. When we arrived we were delighted to find homemade muffins, and a welcome letter. Christmas decorations were the perfect touch in this very clean and comfortable home. Rebecca was a wonderful host! We enjoyed our weekend and highly recommend staying here!
