This hotel is really well located in a buzzing area of Aqaba. It is a short walk to the beach and the main shopping area. The hotel is nice and comfortable but nothing flashy.
Be sure to get up early for breakfast as this hotel seems popular with tour groups and so fills at breakfast.
The stay was overall average. The hotel is a little out-dated but staff was friendly. The location was fine but the internet was very weak. The free breakfast was nothing special and the hotel was dark. They are probably saving on electricity but the community areas were not very bright.
I stayed 10 days and greatly enjoyed my experience. This is not a 5* hotel, but, at the price, it is comfortable, great A/C, TV channels for English, good, food, good, very clean. The Manager is very helpful and I will stay there again.
I was disappointed by the welcome. The staff didn't have my information, and I had to email them a copy of my hotels.com confirmation. I was told they would take care of the account. The tub drain didn't have a stopper and the handles were rusted. Sink stopper wouldn't close, which is important for me not to lose my contact lenses. When I went to check out, they wanted to charge my credit card, saying they didn't receive my payment from Hotels.com. I again showed them my confirmation and after more delays, they finally said they would take care of it. One of the worst hotel stays ever, and I travel the world, often.
Great location for the markets, night life and the beach is close enough. You want the spirit of Aqaba captured in your hotel and this is it. The staff just make it. There are flashier hotels, but they could be any where.
the food is great, the staff are very nice and the hotel is near everything ! there is a little bit of noise from the nearby restaurant during the night but everything else is good.
I am from Chicago, IL and now living in Amman. I have stayed in five star hotels in downtown Chicago, luxury hotels in Amman, and more humble hotels in both places. That being the case, we moved to the Days Inn Aqaba after being dissatisfied with another hotel. This is a great place. The room was clean, comfortable, and we even had a view of the Red Sea! The breakfast was good and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I feel very comfortable recommending this hotel.
I stayed at Day's Inn last year on 10 day group tour and liked it so returned for several days this year travelling on my own. Well maintained hotel in a great location. Good variety at breakfast and ate dinner on several occassions and very reasonably priced with good variety.. Rooms very clean and staff were helpful. The rooms are fairly modern so if you like that 'western' style comfort hotel this is a great option. 3/4 english TV channels. RIght downtown and they have shuttles to South Beach if you like diving and snorkeling. I would return.
Zimmer sind gut und mit Klima, allerdings sind die Zimmer zur Strassenseite hin nicht geeignet bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen, da das Nachtleben gut wahrnehmbar ist und tÀglich stattfindet.
it was awful, the swimming pool was so green and dirty, the lobby was full of smoke , people smoke every were . it is nasty ,the breakfast was not good at all , we did not have a good time at the hotel .
Very nice hotel, and located right near the main area - a lot of good eating around this hotel. Great breakfast, too. Will stay here again. They have good deals on beach clubs to go to.
Points faibles : Service et personnel, confort de la chambre
Location is the only plus point of this hotel...but in a small town like Aqaba, most hotels are well located. Breakfast was quite alright though!
Toilets were fine but towels a bit too slippery...average rooms & for a suite room that I stayed in...no welcome fruit or flower or cookie basket kept in the room. Found it very odd as not even a bottle of water is given as a freebie...Overall a touch is too manly for me. Nothing much in the restaurant by way of food choice & you'll have to lug your own suitcases & bags up to your room...suit or otherwise. Front desk is polite n house-keeping is ok.
Buffet dinner uninspired arabic version of school dinner. Room did not have enough lighting or pilows, but these were provided when asked for. Patio door handle broken. I last stayed here when it was a Golden Tulip, about 5 years back, and the room furniture etc looks the same. Bed comfortable, hotel in good location, so a budget hotel with no pretensions to providing high quality food, that satisfied a short notice opportunity for a weekend escape.
