30 minute drive to Redwood National and State Parks.
Please note that the Kitchenette is stocked well with hot plate, toaster, toaster oven, a 7.5cuft retro fridge, microwave, a Nespresso machine and poor over drip coffee supplies. The perfect set up for making light meals and freshening up leftovers. The home provides dishware, pots and pans, glassware, coffee mugs, flatware, cooking utensils. The place was perfect for our visit. Walking distance to Humboldt campus and downtown. Cute little cottage with all the appropriate accommodations to make for a lovely stay. The property managers were quick to respond to any questions we had. We met the property owner as well who was lovely and made us feel very welcome. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a nice spot close to downtown Arcata.

This was an adorable well kept unit moments away from the Arcata Community forest. It had a small kitchenette, which was perfect for small meals, a grill outside for bigger ones and a very comfortable bed. I would highly recommend it, especially if you like to wake up and take a walk among the redwoods.

Very nice

It is a sweet place and pretty quiet on beautiful landscaped property. I was disappointed in the deck with no view but furniture is comfy and can see lovely flowers and birds. Bed is very comfy but it is a double and I think we need a queen. Hosts are lovely and its close to everything. Will recommend to our kids when they come up.

Very nice, but if you're tall you will need to duck! Ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom are very low. Very close to a busy road but the noise wasn't too bad. Great choice for ONE person and a pet.

Good location to visit Arcata!

This is a good minimal home-base for visiting Arcata. Smooth check-in, clean, everything as expected. Worth noting that winter storms can be a bit noisy in this room, as it's a mother-in-law type unit. Shower pressure / hot water excellent!

Cute, efficient but too cramped for my taste.

This studio had a great location. It was quiet and clean. The bed was pretty comfortable. Excellent indoor shower stall. Overall we found the unit to be small. It had somewhat of a kitchen that might be serviceable for a light breakfast, but I would not want to prepare a meal there. In my opinion it might be best suited for a single traveler.

The property was perfect for a place for two located close to town. The trails right across the street in the community forest were beautiful for my morning walks and everything we needed was right in the area.

Arcada get away!

I enjoyed the location for the Arcada Park was across the street. A fun experience walking through the forest! Weather permitting nice patio for relaxing or bbq. Was small but suited my little dog & I! Was equipped with everything you would need. Very enjoyable!
