Welcome to this spacious mountain cabin nestled on the edge of Calaveras Big Tree State Park. Outdoor enthusiasts will love this retreat, away from it all into the extraordinary, green scenery. It's a nature photographer's dream out here, with hundreds of hiking trails, small lakes, mountain biking, and golfing. In the winter, skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling are the perfect powder-time activities. Enjoy an array of local cuisine, entertainment, and family-friendly attractions in the nearby town, including museums and wine tours. Relax in the neighborhood pool or play a few rounds of volleyball in the sand pit.

Inside you'll find a bright interior with an open, airy concept and a vaulted ceiling. With the open floor plan, the living area, dining area, and kitchen are all adjacent, so no one will miss out on the conversation. Gather around the wood-burning stove on comfortable furniture and have a movie night or Netflix marathon. Challenge your loved ones to a board game or dine on a grand meal at the dining table. The place was perfect. I came up for a dad’s golf tournament and the cabin had everything we needed. Great location near Sequoia Woods golf course.

Mostly nice cabin

We had a great time at this cabin. The cleaning crew was done cleaning 90 minutes after check in time, but they did go ahead and shovel the driveway snow so that was very appreciated. The pool table is in shambles, the foosball table has no foosballs so its a byof situation, and the beds are on wheels and the slightest movement sent them rolling away from the wall.

The place was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view from a relaxing deck. However, the owner/manager of this property needs to update the property description. No pool table, the wi-fi didn’t work and no DVD library. We had a DVD in the car but the dvd player didn’t even work. I appreciate the affordable and comfortable stay but the description was totally misleading.

The check in process could have been a little better if directions on how to unlock the door was sent when the lock code was texted.We were very disappointed to find out that the pool which was listed as an amenity and was mentioned in FAQs, was not free and we had to pay the daily rate to access it which is a false advertising. The property management should either remove that from the listing or ensure that guests do have a free access.

Tranquility is the word!

Such a quiet neighborhood away from traffic amidst the tall trees. Our family was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Short drive to the Big Trees State Park which is a must see with all the Giant Sequoias! This house will welcome you back with a cold drink on the deck after a day of hiking. Do be sure to map directions before you head up from Angels Camp. We had to stop at Snowshoe Brewing to have a beer and a pretzel and use their Wi-fi. It was well worth it😉

Quiet, peaceful home with responsive management

The house provided what was promised and the management was prompt to respond. There was a broken vacuum and a small vacuum that didn't work well, so they said they were ordering a new one! They even offered to come over and vacuum for me. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Neighbors are friendly. The grill worked well and enjoyed the reverse osmosis water spigot. It runs slowly, but was a great surprise for my picky kids.

Not enough for the cost

Under-whelmed. The kitchen is not stainless steel and every pot and pan should be thrown and replaced. All were extremely old and the non-stick pans had about half of the surface scratched off. This is unhealthy. No facial tissues and the cheapest paper towels and toilet paper were annoying. But the most disappointing thing was being charged a high cleaning fee and we had to clean before we used it. There were cobwebs around the kitchen cupboards and the bathroom had dried on toothpaste spit in the sink - - GROSS!

Great home but needs new house keeper!

Showed up at 4 o’clock which was supposed to be check in time. But had to wait til after five for it to be cleaned. We loved the location and the home excepts locks are broke grandkids kept getting locked in bathroom. Tv upstairs would not work. The beds were cleaned, but we tried to use pull out couch and it had a used comb in it and was dirty. In fact most of the house was dirty, when I shook bathroom rugs tons of dirt and other things went every where. We swept porch, and moved couches which had tons of trash and dirt under it. I cleaned barbecue which really looked like had not happened in along time. In fact pans ect had left over food on it so we cleaned it. We did not clean under beds and someone needs too. My husband , daughter , me and even grandaughter spent a lot of time sorting stuff like game table, and cleaning because we like cleanliness. I do not thingk any of this is owners fault! I think we were cheated out of an hour sitting in our cats waiting and spent tons of time cleaning this wonderful house. The locks do need fixed but when I got there I saw things that were probably caused by renters that do not care and cleaning service who does not really try to do a great job. We loved this fun place at blue lake and the home is such a great find. We left house cleaner than we got it! We want to stay at this wonderful home again, due to location and the home itself!

Cozy Cabin

Loved the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything needed is in this cabin. Customer service was great and reachable at all times. The only thing I would suggest is adding a bear box for trash.
