Perfect Hidden Mountain getaway. Just what the family needed to recharge the old batteries. Would like to stay again in the future. The rental is off the beaten path and contains quite an interesting history. At the same time, it's nearby to local restaurants and grocery stores and other amenities.

Our third time staying at the cottage was just as wonderful. Restful and peaceful. A short distance to downtown Weaverville. Everything you could possibly need has generously been provided. We just love the large yard for our dogs to have some great runs looking for squirrels and rabbits. Or just laying on the grass and porch enjoying the sun. We look forward to coming back! Thank you Vikki and Ray for being such thoughtful hosts.

Property was exceptional. Close enough to town but far enough away to be quite. Hosts left an apple pie did us to enjoy and we did. If anyone needs a place to stay in the Asheville area this is the one.

My daughter and I loved our stay at the cottage! The pictures are quite accurate, but don’t do the cottage justice. It is so charming and lovely. We’ve stayed many places, but this is the first that felt like a home instead of rental. It was spotlessly clean and we had everything we could have possibly needed. The location was very convenient to all the activities we had planned. The hosts are kind, helpful, and super communicative! The apple pie was amazing and such a nice welcome. We would definitely book this property again!

Everything was wonderful. Loved the cozy feeling. The hosts were quick to respond if we had a question. Very welcoming and thoughtful. We had a fresh baked apple pie waiting in the kitchen which was delicious and a sweet touch. The cottage has an equipped kitchen , with dishes and pots , pans and utensils. We love the feel of the property. It was like being at your grandparents house for the weekend. We plan on staying again. Also convenient to downtown and Asheville.

We had a lovely stay over the Thanksgiving weekend. The house was perfect for our family of 4 adults. We noted it was very dog friendly as well. A secluded location, but easy to get to and close to everything needed for our stay. We had dinner at a local restaurant, Twisted Laurel, which was excellent. The hosts were easy to contact and answered all of my questions. Checkin couldn't have been easier. And we felt very welcomed with a delicious apple pie. Such a nice touch and a lovely addition to our Thanksgiving feast. We plan to return. Hopefully for a longer visit.

My family enjoyed a delicious pie, a cozy campfire and the best mattresses during our stay! Highly recommend and we will definitely pick this place again when we are in need of some mountain air!

My daughter and I loved our time here. We both said it was too short and will return. Super clean, quaint, cozy, comfortable, beautiful spot. We also found so many small touches and attention to detail that are so thoughtful. Make sure to check the binder on the bookshelf in the living room about the archaeological history of the property. As a history lover I found it fascinating. I also loved the foggy mornings.
