Beautiful private studio with deck and private entrance attached to our 100 year old historic Appalachian home. Completely private with private entrance. You will feel like you are in the woods while being in walking distance of Downtown Asheville! A luxury Cal-King bed (that we cal the 6K bed as that’s how much it cost ) with premium sheets, duvet and hypoallergenic pillows await you. Always dog friendly for well behaved fur babies! (Dog must not have aggression issues with humans or other dogs)

Feel welcomed home as you arrive to your parking space right in front of the studio. Walk onto your private deck with comfy reclined chairs and a peaceful fountain. Enter the private entrance to enjoy a spacious bright room decorated with whimsical happiness!

Your luxury California-King bed awaits with premium hypoallergenic linens and pillows. Go ahead and unpack your items in a your huge closet or the beautiful Mule Chest dresser. Small fridge, microwave, coffee maker with premium coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

The room was very clean and welcoming! The suite was attached to the owners’ home, but we had no issues with this in terms of noise or anything else! The hosts were wonderful!

The hosts are super accommodating and welcoming. The space decor is quirky, fun and charming. The location is ideal for activities in Asheville! We would just say that if you want a more spacious place, this might not be for you. Also, plan to eat your meals out as there is not a kitchen - there is a microwave and mini-fridge, toaster and coffee maker. For a short stay, it is fine and there are plenty of good restaurants near by. The neighborhood has sidewalks so is good for walking dogs, and the people in the area are very friendly.

Cute little studio that was perfect for our weekend getaway with our dogs. Very close to just about anything you would want to do in Asheville, the location couldn’t be better. Everything thing was clean and well stocked as well.

Very accommodating hosts. Clean and pet friendly. Everything needed is nearby. Bed is super comfortable. Cozy electric fireplace. Good water pressure and hot water in shower. Pleasant outdoor sitting area. Loved the cheery colors, whimsical peacock theme, and ceramic and other yard decorations that gave an enchanted forest vibe. For longer stays, may want to be aware that the only sink is in the bathroom and the refrigerator is smaller than those found in most hotel rooms.

The Peacock Cottage is warm & welcoming. Mike & Tom were ideal hosts with great communication and wonderful hospitality. Upon confirming our reservation, they provided a list of recommended restaurants & activities, making our planning much easier. Mike & Tom took extra measures to make sure that not only were we readily comfortable in the cottage but also that our dogs had all the essentials needed to make themselves at home, too. The small fenced yard just outside of our front door was perfect for the pups. The location is great v with easy access to Asheville's best. We had a great stay and highly recommend this property for a relaxing weekend.

Quiet getaway for senior and 2 dogs

I definitely hope to stay here again if I return to Asheville. I enjoyed the clean and quiet accommodations and convenience of a small fenced in yard for my dogs. My suggestion of adding a place to sit within the fenced area was promptly acted on with the addition of two outdoor chairs and a table (so I could enjoy the complementary wine while watching my pups). Great communication with the hostess and perfect location 12 minutes from Biltmore Estate and 2 minutes from Weaver Park.

Great location convenient to everything

Very nice room close to everything in downtown Asheville. Had everything we need for a stay with our pups including a small fenced in area for the dogs to go off leash. Nice quiet neighborhood. Owners were excellent with communication prior to and during the stay.
