Tony was very helpful & cabin was great. They remodeled some from the hurricane so pictures did not match what was I was expecting but still a sweet home. It also does not sleep 6 as the sofa is just a normal sofa. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need as well as the bathroom. Really enjoyed the heater from the fan in the bathroom. We werenât able to rate the fire pit area as the weather was rainy making the wood too wet to burn. But Iâm sure it would have been marvelous. Cabin is very easy to drive to with great parking. I would stay here again.
We had a great time here checking out all Asheville had to offer. This home is close to many beautiful hiking trails as well as small towns that shouldnât be missed. The home itself is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed. The owners were extremely kind and messaged us all the information we needed before arrival. They also checked in with us during our stay to be sure everything was fine. We had a great stay and would love to come back when weâre in the area again.
We had 2 adults and three older kids ( age 9, 11, & 12). We had enough room. We needed a larger place to stay other than a hotel to visit family. We did all our meals expect breakfast away from the house. Came home to relax and sleep around 9:30-10:00 pm and left each morning after breakfast. Perfect place to get some peace and quiet and sleep.
My friends and I recently rented Tonyâs cabin and enjoyed our stay. Nice little place in a good location with everything you need for a weekend trip. Cabin was very clean and Tony was a great host.
We came down to the area to mountain bike and this location was perfect for our needs. The house was super cute and cozy and the beds were probably the most comfortable beds I've ever had in a rental, I'm pretty sure they were memory foam which is what we're used to. We're used to camping so the small kitchen didn't really phase us, it had everything we needed to make easy breakfasts and dinners.
The downstairs suite with its own living room and bedroom was perfect for the teens. They had their space and the upstairs stayed quiet and peaceful. Could not have asked for a better place for our girls' weekend!
Tony and Natasha's place was the perfect spot for a quick couples retreat! The cabin is cozy and the location is central to get to Brevard, Hendersonville, Asheville, Dupont State Forest, or Pisgah National Forest, wherever your adventures will take you!
The only thing is do not plan to make elaborate meals in the kitchen! Though the full-size appliances are great and the kitchen is fully stocked (very nice on our weekend trip!) there is limited counter space/places for dry foods storage. We did some cooking, though it was limited to breakfast and lots of frozen meals to limit space needed for prep work; we were not wanting for pots/pans and cookie sheets, etc. There were also plenty of dishes, silverware, and utensils.
Communication with the hosts was great, the cabin was clean, and we are very happy with our experiences and stay overall!
This was the perfect spot for our stay! It was a beautiful area and close to area attractions. The cottage was spotless and so cozy. We look forward to staying again! Thank you, Tony and Natasha!!
The cottage was clean and well appointed. We were a two-top and so it was the perfect size for us. It is conveniently located about 20-30 minutes from everything - Brevard, DuPont, Hendersonville, Bent Creek, Asheville. The only comment I would make is if you like to make meals that require a large kitchen, with copious flat surfaces, this isn't the cabin for you. This cabin is perfect if you intend to eat out, use the grill, make sandwiches, keep it simple, etc. We did try to make some dinners and we had to be innovative with surface space and we also planned ahead and brought our own unique kitchen utensils. Otherwise, we were really pleased with the cottage, the location, and the price!
OMG...this place was REEEDONC!!! Clean, well apportioned, and perfectly located! Tony was an awesome host and a very thoughtful communicator! This cottage was surprisingly spacious and very thoughtfully refurbished. A perfect jumping off point for day trips to Ashville, Hendersonville, and Brevard. I've been a VRBO user for many years and this place is one of my Faves! Quaint, quiet, and serene. This place is the perfect spot if you are planning a trip to the Western NC!
We stayed for our anniversary weekend and enjoyed the Cozy Cottage. It's close to so many things that we like - Pisgah Forest, Hendersonville, the NC Arboretum, and Flat Rock. The kitchen is very small but surprisingly well stocked. We had all we needed. The owner was very responsive and checked to make sure we got in to the cottage.
The house is well cared for and beautiful inside and out. The fire circle was very nice but it was very windy while we were there, so we weren't able to use it much. The only negative was the very bright street light directly outside the bedroom windows. It would make the property more enjoyable to not have it on. It made sleeping and star gazing challenging, which is shame since it's out in the country. That's the only reason we give it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, a great place to stay.
