I booked a suite, and the outer room of the suite had no light, save for one tiny desk lap. It was so dim. It clearly looked like a light was missing (not even light over the counter with the sink), though when I asked, they said that was normal.
Also, the window was broken, leaving it 1/4 open, which I didn't realize until the second day there (I knew something was wrong but didn't understand it was off its track). They couldn't fix it b/c there wasn't a maintenance person on site (though the woman who helped me was lovely; it wasn't her fault).
Lots of little things too. The indoor pool was unusable b/c it's not heated. I booked there specifically b/c I was staying there with my son and you know how kids are obsessed with hotel pools.
They had no bar soap. No cups in the rooms. The sheet set to make up the sleeper sofa was three sizes too big for bed. They had no extra blankets. None of these things alone is a big deal. Taken all together, I wouldn't stay there again. I was disappointed, considering I paid nearly $200/night.
I did find the staff very nice though. And the property was very clean.
