WELCOME TO THE BIG OAK CABIN which is located in Black Mountain. SUPER Easy access to down town Black Mountain, Montreat & Asheville
Driving to this home is easy, via paved LEVEL ROAD! (town maintained road) allows you to drive right to this cabin.
Located just a little over a mile from center of the town of Black Mountain, enjoy this easy get to home, with a LARGE YARD, AND CIRCLE DRIVE!

Our cabin is close to all attractions. Minutes from the highway, in a quiet neighborhood. This location is allows for convenient access to downtown Asheville (15 minutes!). One mile drive to center of downtown Black Mountain, 3 miles to Montreat NC!

Enjoy staying in this NEWLY BUILT log cabin with conveniences that come from being close to town, and space to roam outside.
The Big Oak cabin is a NEWLY built custom log home located on a LARGE (1 acre corner lot) off a level residential paved road in Black Mountain. This property is conveniently located to Downtown Black Mountain (1 mile) and Asheville (15 miles).

The Big Oak Cabin offers beautiful indoor and outdoor areas to relax and entertain, including a spacious back deck, ample covered front porch, and a large back yard fire-pit (firewood provided!)

The home features spacious rooms, open floor plan, exposed beam construction, cathedral ceilings, large picture windows, central air, . Enjoy HIGH SPEED INTERNET W/ WI-FI THROUGHOUT.
ALL Rooms equipped with Ruko. You can watch the basic free channels, or simply log onto to your own subscriptions.
The Big Oak Cabin comes stocked to meet all your basic needs! Linens, extra pillows, toiletries, basic household items, firewood provided for the outdoor fire pit and COFFEE included (We provide coffee pods for the Keurig, a standard coffee maker also present).

Beds sleep 6 people comfortably. Linens provided. Brand new stove, washer and dryer. Fully stocked kitchen including coffee maker, Keurig, blender and dishes/ utensils needed for cooking and baking. Service for 8.

flat screen TVs in all bedrooms, as well as the living room.

The large parking area with circle drive will accommodate 4 vehicles easily!
Please contact us with questions concerning early check-ins and additional days, if possible we will make accommodations.

Once all rental fees are paid, guests will receive instructions for entry into home.

We stayed 2 nights in Black Mountain at this AWESOME little cabin. Such a cute, clean little cabin. We loved the layout of this place, and the fact that is is so close to town. It is so much bigger than it looks like from the outside. It is decorated beautifully and we 100% recommend others stay here. (We were so sad when it was time to leave).Also, our host John was great to work with. He was always so quick to respond.We definitely would come back again.

Wow! What a beautiful cabin! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. Close enough to everything but far enough away to feel like you’re in the sticks. :-) Host is a great communicator and answered our questions quickly. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Host didn’t give us a laundry list of chores to complete on our way out, which was a nice change. Can’t say enough good things about this property.

This cabin is adorable, very clean and in a great location. Out of the busy part of town, but still really close to everything. Beds were comfortable and plenty of linens were provided. The owners were wonderful to work with and we will definately be renting from them in the future.

We really enjoyed our weekend away! The Black Mountain/Asheville area is beautiful! The cabin is stocked with anything you will need and is VERY CLEAN! The host were wonderful to work with, and very responsive to messages! We will definitely be back!

Mother/Daughter weekend

We loved the Big Oak Cabin! It had everything we needed for a fun mother/daughter weekend. The beds were comfortable and the sectional couch was perfect for watching movies. The kitchen table was large enough for six of us and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook dinner. Loved the location being so close to downtown Black Mountain and a 10 min. drive to the grocery store, but it still felt like we were in the mountains.

Nice property!

The cabin was as described and was clean. We stayed over Christmas and the hosts had put up a tree which was really nice. Communications with the hosts was excellent. Black mountain is a nice area we would like to explore again.

Wonderful cozy cabin!

We came to Asheville for a family 40th birthday. This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family. We have small children so the outdoor space was perfect for them! It was well stocked. Extremely clean. So many fun games for the kids. John and Rachel are wonderful hosts. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Our mountain trip

We loved our visit to North Carolina and our stay in the mountains. The cabin was a perfect location, not too far up the mountain either and we were close to the downtown only a 6 minute drive! The cabin is gorgeous and everything we needed was in there! I recommend driving through the Blue Ridge Mountains which is close to our location. The views and waterfalls were breathtaking !
