Welcome to House of Oz; “the” Alpine Chalet, a multipurpose lodge for winter/nature tourism, corporate events and spiritual/wellness retreats. With up to (10 ensuite) 15 rooms, a large and bright activity room, and a cozy Austrian hunter-style rustic bar for warm conversations, our chalet caters to all needs.

❄️ For Ski & Snow Lovers

Surrounded by several ski resorts and cross-country trails, our chalet is ideal for winter sports groups and families. Spend your days on the slopes, then return to warm, rustic interiors. The lodge offers a bar lounge for après-ski evenings, spacious dining halls, and cozy guest rooms for a restful night’s sleep. Thanks to the well-maintained main road in front, you can drive all year long with a regular car or van.

For Nature & Summer Guests

In spring, autumn, and summer, our Mariensee village becomes a paradise for hiking, trekking, and nature tourism. The chalet sits right next to one of the most beautiful forest tracks in Austria, offering direct access to riverside trails for walking, running, meditating, or simply enjoying the peace of the Austrian Alps.

For Groups, Retreats & Corporate Events

With a large event room and social common spaces, our chalet is well suited for yoga retreats, meditation groups, detox retreats, company off-sites, and team-building events with full privacy, as your team will have all the facilities for themselves.

Thanks to our spacious and bright event hall next to the river, you may run your meditation or yoga retreat or spiritual teachings while rejuvenating with the sound of the river and gentle breeze of the Alpine forest. Or close the windows and blinds to have a corporate training with team-building activities using our high-tech audiovisual equipment. Our commercial-grade kitchen allows cooking class retreats for up to 8 people in the kitchen or 20 people in the event room. All utensils are provided.

Or just come over for the holiday you’ve been delaying for years, to bond with your college mates or family.

House of Oz is our family home, not a commercial estate, but we are renting it out due to our frequent travels to Africa and the Middle East. We designed it to cater to our company’s occasional training activities. Since it is a home, there is no room service or housekeeping. You get the key and enjoy all the space and facilities with your own privacy. There is a video tutorial for every item with QR codes, a 24/7 emergency number for any technical problem, and plenty of supplies (extra bedding, pillows, toiletries, etc.) are available during your extended stay. A brand-new washing machine, dryer, as well as a huge fridge and freezer are available.

Special Note : Our hall and garden are also available for small weddings or BBQ weekends, thanks to our kitchen facilities and large number of catering utensils.

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys
Plz set the heating system control panel to 10 degree Celsius. Panel is next to bar (next to event room door) . Setting is very easy, just turn anti-clock wise till you see 10 and press.
IMPORTANT: please open ALL inside doors. Including the doors connecting bar to hall and hall to stairs. All doors must be open.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
