This is the ideal choice for someone who wants to visit Assisi for a day. It is close to the train station so you can drop off your bags when you arrive and then continue with your visit. I would emphasize that it truly is a "Modern Hotel" and the staff were very nice and accommodating.

Very nice hotel. An older building with nice character that has been fully refurbished. Friendly staff, close to train station and bus to Assisi hill town.

Good location and clean
This hotel is run by a family of three generations. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean. Our room is very quiet. The railway station is right across the road. There is a bus stop in front of the railway station. The bus goes to the uphill Assisi Old Town. There are two bus services per hour. The last bus runs at about 11:00pm. There are also other buses going to other towns/cities from the bus stops in front of the railway station. I checked in at about noon. I then took a bus to the terminal stop in the old town and started to walk downhill to visit various attractions. I returned late in the evening and left Assisi by train in the next morning. So the location of the hotel is very convenient to me. Highly recommended.

Very nice, refurbished hotel across from the train station. Too bad we had to leave a day early because of an Italian train strike. The owner wasn't thrilled and was hoping to get an Expedia commission refund for that night. The only hotel issue was a rather bare-bones continental breakfast.

Great location. Across street from train station. Owners of hotel, Carlo, his wife and son, made us feel very welcome and they were super accommodating. We had to catch a 6a train upon leaving and Carlo the owner had coffee and warm croissants waiting for us at our departure even after I told him not to bother the night before.
