Great 4-bedroom apartment in the heart of Athens, ideally located, very close to the National Archaeological Museum. Overlooking Victoria square, this spacious (119 m2 or 1300 ft2) 3rd floor apartment (EU standards) or 4rth floor (American standards) in a 7 floor building, is ready to host a big family or 2 families with 2 or 3 kids

The flat is fully renovated floor-to-ceiling (August 2017), has 4 bedrooms (one of the bedrooms is a children's room but the beds are big enough to fit adults - bunk bed, mattress size 2m long). A folding bed is also provided so it is possible to accommodate up to 9 people.

The apartment has a reception hall, living room, dining room, spacious separate kitchen with all necessary equipment, and a front facing balcony with a beautiful view of Victoria Square.

Supermarkets - restaurants - food take away/delivery, just a few steps from your door. The apartment is equipped with all necessities for long term rentals, including heating, A/C units in every room, home theater combined with a 42” LED TV, Satellite TV (1200 channels free channels), high speed WiFi & ADSL Internet connection and brand new electric devices.

TrÚs bonne localisation, appartement confortable pour 6 personnes, car seulement 6 places assises à table (6 chaises). Egalement pour la cuisine manque de grand plat : pas de saladier, pas de grand plat pour cuisiner ... (plaque de four pas de la bonne taille pour rentrer dans le four !) Sinon on peut se restaurer à proximité trÚs facilement ...

Great location

The location was wonderful. Very easy access to the line. The building was safe and secure and the flat had everything we needed. The only con - to no fault of the apt due to the excessive heat was the Air Conditioning did have a hard time keeping up just due to the outside temps being extremely high. For the price and location - I would def recommend. Lovely local eatery very close by as well. You can get to almost anywhere in center Al Athens, the port, airport via trains.

Not what I expected

Communication was ok, host kept us informed about who would be meeting us to check in. Upon arriving to apartment I quickly realized the neighborhood it is in was not was I expected, very run down but I remained optimistic. Apartment was fairly clean, but the tub was full of old soap bar marks and a nice layer of dirt and soap scum under the dirty mat. The city was under a heat advisory when we arrived and the apartment had 4 mini split style units to use to cool the space. It was so hot inside getting comfortable was impossible so we decided to leave for food with the units running to allow the space time to cool. We were gone a couple hours and when we returned it was just as hot as we left. We have 3 children ages 11, 17, and 19
we just sat there sweating and miserable. We ended up leaving about 4.5 hours and booked a local hotel instead. We did let the host know we left and the reason being the extreme heat with the units now being able to provide any relief. I wanted to leave an honest review so other families with children can have a real heads up.

Nightmare Experience: Life and safety concerns

I feel compelled to share my recent experience at this apartment to warn others about the severe security issues we encountered. It is crucial to emphasize that the safety of you and your loved ones should be your utmost priority, and unfortunately, this property fails miserably in that regard. From the moment we arrived, there was an unsettling vibe about the area. We dismissed it initially, foolishly assuming that it wouldn't affect our stay. Oh, how wrong we were! A single review had hinted at potential security concerns, but we underestimated its significance. Let me assure you, one review does matter, and I deeply regret not paying enough attention to it. Our worst fears materialized when our family fell victim to a distressing theft incident within the confines of this supposedly secure apartment. Despite taking every precaution, including diligently locking all doors and windows before leaving, we returned to find our belongings ravaged. To our disbelief and horror, passports, phones, headphones, laptop, clothing, jewelry, and $2,000 in cash had vanished without a trace. The absence of any signs of forced entry only deepens the mystery. We can only speculate that someone with a duplicate key or a person close to the property may be involved. The fact that the owner lacked insurance coverage is both shocking and indicative of their negligence. This experience has been an absolute nightmare. I cannot stress enough how imperative it is to steer clear of this property.

Great apartment with fantastic host

Communication with Nikos was really fantastic. Our first time in Athens (family of 6), we were made to feel at home. Nikos met us as soon as we arrived from the airport and showed us into the apartment. His hospitality was amazing. He gave us advice on where to eat, what to do, local tips and more. The apartment was clean, well located, and comfortable. A+ rating!

Excellent responsive host

We absolutely loved Greece. The host was great. We were met with roaches in the home. This was very uncomfortable. The host quickly sent over a person to spray which helped the situation. After a few days we were not visited anymore. The area was not the best but we never felt unsafe. The host was very helpful with information about Athens, and he setup our transportation to and from the airport. He also spent time answering any questions that we had.

Our host arranged a ride for us from the airport which worked out perfectly. When we arrived at the property we were shown around and had the opportunity to ask any questions. Once we got settled in we realized the balcony was such a vantage point! Can see the normal daily life of Athens just go by right before you. :)

Very Reasonable for Family

We were an adult family of 6. Accommodations were comfortable with a beautiful kitchen. The shower was a bit of trouble for my mom as the tub is high and there is no ac in a small bedroom with twin beds. I thought at first it was in a terrible area, but we walked a short distance to several restaurants and they were excelllent. Nikkos was responsive, even when my brother left his suit in the closet! It was quiet.

Schöne Wohnung in zentrumsnaher Lage

Sehr saubere großzĂŒgige Wohnung in zentraler Lage. Die Wohnung ist fĂŒr 6 Personen ideal, mit 8 Personen geht es auch, aber mit EinschrĂ€nkungen. Das sogenannte Kinderzimmer hat nur 3,5 mÂČ, es ist daher nur als reine Schlafgelegenheit nutzbar und auch das ist wenig bequem. Die SchlĂŒsselĂŒbergabe hat super geklappt, von Nikos haben wir dann auch noch ein paar hilfreiche Tipps bekommen. Insgesamt hatten wir eine gute Zeit!

Great Location

Near the city center the apartment is very clean and roomy. Perfect for a family or group. Just across the park from the taxi stand and metro entrance. There is a 24 hour bakery, supermarket, late night food and an adult beverage store within a couple of minutes of the apartment and two stops away from most attractions. The host is amazing, great communication and very helpful.

Charming spacious and welcoming appartment.

Clean and spacious apartment. Suitable for families. Very close (2 minutes) to the metro and Taxi stations. Grocery stores are on the adjacent building. The owner, Nikos, welcomed us on arrival toured the apartment and gave useful tips . The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with washing machine, TV and internet. Hot water around the clock. Taxi to downtown is 3.5-5 EUR and we used the taxi services several times without hesitation.

Comfortable, completely remodeled, very clean plus excellent host 4 bedroom apartment

Well appointed, very, very clean apartment in the Victoria neighborhood of Athens. Convenient to taxis in the square and easy to tell taxi drivers where to return to. Nikos was an outstanding host, setting up our transportation from the airport to the apartment and then from the apartment to Rafina where we caught the ferry to Android. The van driver held a placard with my name, so very easy to spot him. Nikos carefully and clearly explained everything about the apartment and answered our many questions. He provided helpful recommendations for transportation ( taxi vs. metro) because there were 4 of us and also delicious restaurants. The WiFi worked very well. The AC also. In this neighborhood you must be comfortable around immigrants as there are many in the area. We never felt unsafe or uncomfortable There were 4 of us using three of the four bedrooms. We didn’t use the smallest bedroom that has bunk beds. The full bathroom is very tastefully done in white floors and tile. All brand new. There is a washer to use and a rack to dry clothes on the balcony. There other small bathroom has a toilet and sink. Nikos was an excellent host always reachable by WhatsApp.

Amazing week-end whit friends in Athen

Great apartment with loads of room

The apartment is two Metro stops to the Platka and one transfer to the Acropolis. It overlooks the Victoria Square with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We were a group of 7 and managed with the 1 and half bathrooms. The entrance to the building needs some TLC but the apartment was great. Some guests may have cultural shock when they see what appears to be homeless young men sleeping over night in the park across the street. I stopped and spoke to a group of them. All but one spoke English, some had jobs and lived nearby. They are from Afghanistan and fled from the Taliban and to find a better life. Some were university educated but because jobs are rare in Greece, they are stuck and can’t move beyond in the EU. They are not terrorists, are well mannered and put their belongs away for the day. The hosts were very prompt with any requests and offer great information.
