No comment on the property, as I was unable to stay there…
I was caught up in the Snowmeggeddon of the East coast in February. Stuck in ATL after midnight. Called the hotel to find out where the shuttle bus was located. They said. “We’re sold out. I don’t think you have a room here.” Chatted Travelocity, and they confirmed I have a room. Arrived at the hotel. No room. Literally, every rooom had a person or people in it.
Took an hour on the chat, back and forth about how I was on the property, and they did not physically have a room.
I’m eating a $200 room that I did not sleep in. Travelocity confirmed with “the property” that they had a room.
Severely disappointed after a frustrating weather day of travel.
App being deleted as soon as I finish this post.
Highly recommend travelers download the big hotel apps and avoid the third party nightmare of refund.
Had I worked directly with Hyatt (of which I am a member of their rewards program), they would have rectified the situation immediately.
Shopper beware. They could have kept me on their payroll, but got greedy.
