Other Things to Note:
Guests should note that the condo is located in the heart of the city and just like other city centers in the US, there are often houseless individuals smoking drinking around the area and outside of our building. Unfortunately this is something out of our control.
Also the building is under construction at the moment, so there are blowers in the floor of the lobby and in the hallways to get rid off the smells, if you find them too loud at night, you can turn them off. Our parking lot is on-site but privately owned and the third party owner is not very responsible, so you may see some trash in the area. In addition, the parking lot can get creepy at night, please find another parking lot nearby if you are not comfortable. Once more, unfortunately this is also something out of our control.
AC and heating are available seasonally. The AC is a PTAC system - wall units controlled by the HOA without a thermostat. We check the weather frequently and try to notify guests if we think it can be problematic, which may happen in transition seasons like the start of Spring or Fall. If you have very high standards for the temperature, we may not be your good choice.
Please remember you are in a condominium with other residents and owners. As your hosts, we try as much as we can to be available from 830am to 930pm but please note - we may be in a meeting, at a doctor's appointment, and after-hours, sleeping. If you need a lot of assistance after hours and guaranteed immediate responses during the day, this may not be the condo for you.
Very Roomy but it's not the most comfortable place to stay
The condo was very spacious but just wasn't the best stay. The beds were rock hard, no hair dryer, kitchen not staffed with much, the furniture was not comfortable and didn't have the chairs shown in the pics. Most of all we couldn't get the TV to work. I contacted the host, but it was the internet. Not much help. Won't stay here again.
We were traveling to see a concert at State Farm Arena, and this condo was within walking distance of the venue, as well as the beautiful cathedral. Close to the zoo as well!
This was a beautiful property located very conveniently downtown near most major attractions. Besides the extreme cold of the apartment due to the air conditioning and not being able to be adjusted and they're not being a heater on property everything else was absolutely delightful. On site staff was awesome. The owner described everything exactly how it is experience at the property
Flight was delayed we arrived at destination about 2 a.m. owner did not send combination codes 2 hours in advance could not enter the Apartments owner hung up the phone on us screaming not getting the codes hat to sleep on the Street Homeless
Apartment heat didnât work but they brought electric heater and all electric shot down when l open the shalter some socket didypass electric for these reason refrigerator and tv didnât work l sent email for this reason nobody response on yesterday
Communication with property manager was great and check in/out process was easy, location to everything downtown was the only bonus.
First thing, when arriving at the Landmark condo it was EXTREMELY dirty. Trash bags piled up, dirty clothes/underwear and pillows all over the place. Roadkill in the parking lot. The underground parking was also dirty with fast food and trash bags everywhere. The key fob you get to the room doesn't work to get you underground to the parking garage so you have to walk all the way around alone, and that's scary.
The inside of the building was okay, but the elevators were scary, literally padding on the walls and the buttons didn't light up. The floor we were on reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. The room itself was super unclean, dirty walls, fridge, oven/stove. I wore my slippers in the shower it was so unclean. The towels looked like they had traces of feces. Glad I brought Lysol and wipes to clean it down. There is only one room, pictures made it look like two. There is no heat in the room either, so we froze the whole time we were here.. Location was great but nothing else was worth it.
The Location is situated close to the highway. So NOISY with moving traffics all nights. No noise resistant walls or windows.
The apartment is the worst Iâve ever rented of all the vacations my family and I had been.
The checking in was not favorable either. I tried reaching out to the host for some assistance but her phone was completely turned off.
At 3am, an intruder came and opened the entrance door with the code. Thank God that the door has a Bolt which was locked. Then I shouted âWhoâs thatâ, the person left. We all woke up and was terrified. None of us could sleep again so we have to check out at 4.30am. Later in the morning, I called the host and dropped voicemail. She never called back nor respond to my text messages.
The host has a terrible customer service attitude. She neither answer her calls, nor did she calls back when you drop Voicemails.
The accommodation was just a nightmare and I donât think I can recommend anyone at all.
Location, communication, safety and convenience are all pros about this listing.
We felt comfortable staying here, but floors were dirty so we all just felt grungy. Plenty of space, but we felt a little misled bc we thought there would be two separated sleeping areas... it is a 1 bedroom (that has two full beds) condo. They put up curtains and a futon in the living room for the second "sleeping" area.... which is fine for most guests, but did not work out well for my infant and grandparents who are on their own sleep schedules.
Would not stay here again due to uncleanliness.
Place was a bit less than modern in some ways. Clean and clearly renovated inside the condo but the building smelled funny in the elevator and outside my door. Shower head was broken. I turned it on and water sprayed everywhere in the entire bathroom. I had use hand towels to clean up the water. Also had to pay $32 dollars for parking because after I was warned by the owner to only park in my assigned spot because my car would get towed, i came in one night and someone was parked in my assigned spot. Spoke to the doorman and he said I have to contact the owner or park in the pay to park garage across the street. The owner didn't get back to me till the next morning so I had to park in the grave for $32. But that was just my experience. Yours may be different.
