The classic style and decor of this hotel is beautiful! Staff was friendly. Room amenities adequate. If you're expecting a new shiny hotel you may want to stay somewhere else. Looking for art deco charm, convenient location at a reasonable price for a shore property, I think the Claridge is a great option.

The hotel was nice, parking is a scam as a guest for the weekend I paid $53 because apparently the hotel doesn't own the parking lot. I like the easy access to the casino. I was excited to go to The Vue but it has very limited seating.

The good- proximity to the boardwalk, rooftop bar The bad- the rooms were sold out, I was given a room type I did not initially book so we needed a roll away bed, elevators stopped working properly causing hundreds of people to get jammed up, walls were paper thin so heard the people in room next to us partying all night long, our ceiling started LEAKING-pouring water!, mildew smell was awful by morning, couldn’t get a new room until 6 PM the next day way which again was not given the room we were promised, our new room had a cockroach in the bathroom, almost no empathy or compensation was provided. They were just grateful “I being so calm” will absolutely never stay here again and never recommend to anyone.
