The Alfieri rooms apartments are located in Atrani. To reach us from the main road you can get there with 60 steps, through the classic alleys characteristic of the coast.
The road to get to the apartment was also traveled in the 1930s by the famous artist "Maurits Cornelis Escher" (1898 - 1972) who immortalized it in one of his works "Covered alley in Atrani" of 1931.
We are close to the beach (2 minutes), bus stop 300 meters, Amalfi (400 meters).
The apartment is the result of a careful renovation completed at the end of June 2015, equipped with all the comforts and services to spend a relaxing holiday.

Great location and comfy room!

Our room was great, and Atrani is very pleasant. Generally the room was very clean and comfortable - the bed was comfy, the air conditioner is good, and everything felt clean. One caveat was that there were a couple things missing that would have been useful to us but might not apply to everyone. We cooked a meal there but there was no kitchen knife or cutting board, and no dish sponge for cleanup (there was a brush but it didn't seem to clean as well as a sponge does). We could also occasionally hear the people from the apartment next to ours (also a rental room from the same owner), but it didn't bother us and it's hard to say whether they were loud or if the walls are a bit thin. Otherwise the area was very quiet. The apartment is uphill a bit from the town center but still easy to walk to. You pass through some cool alleys and will probably see a cat or two.
