The Good: The property was in an excellent location for my son‘s athletic recruiting trip to Auburn. It was clean and beds were comfortable. Liked the old building. The host communicated quickly and allowed us to check in early.The not-so-good: Cabinets/drawers were busted up and the lack of decent cooking equipment (pot,pans,etc.) forced us to eat every meal out.The unacceptable: the unit is about 20 steps away from the loudest, bass-booming nightclub you can imagine. It starts around 9pm and went until 2am the first night and 1 am the second night. My son was exhausted on his first face to face visit with the coaches. In my opinion, the description of the unit downplays just how disruptive the noise is to guests. I couldn’t even watch a movie at 9pm without subtitles on because of the noise, which literally vibrates the windows. I actually feel bad for the host. You should file an injunction because the noise went way above what is acceptable for a Tuesday and Wednesday night. I didn’t take away stars for this but it is only fair that you know what to expect. It had a detrimental effect on my son’s visit. He will be back this summer for a private workout and we will be staying stay far away from the Southeastern nightclub. War Eagle

This is exactly what the description said. It is beyond close to campus and was ideal for what we were looking for. Its loud, but they are clear about that. Also, the kitchen was better equipped than what other reviewers said so they must have added a few things.

Great location! But it can be VERY loud at night!

This condo is in a prime location- you can park your car and walk to everything! The listing does state and warn you that it can be loud at night due to being next-door to a bar. But I will tell you that it’s no joke! It sounds like you are inside the bar at night! So if you are OK with loud music till one or 2 AM then you won’t mind staying here. Sunday because the bar wasn’t really open, it wasn’t a problem however on Tuesday because it was St. Patrick’s Day, the bar was hopping. We could open up our door and felt like we were in the middle of the bar. So if you’re there to party, you will definitely love this place. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was spacious and clean. My only request would be if they could put darker curtains up because the lights outside are bright! Overall we had a great stay!

Perfect for College Visit!

Perfect for our short stay to visit Auburn. Superb location, we walked everywhere. We were there on a Monday night, so the disclosed potential neighboring bar noise was not an issue for us. Really comfortable beds. I can’t recommend this VRBO enough! Honestly easier than a hotel and the two bedrooms made it great for parents and teens.

This little place was perfect for our Thursday night stay! There was loud live music at the bar across the way but it stopped at 11pm (I had brought a box fan to drown out the noise). I loved the proximity to Auburn!

perfect college town experience!!

The property was adorable and wonderfully located! And the description provided by the property manager was perfect in regards to the noise from the local bars. But since I knew that going in, it was still fine. I would recommend it and stay there again.

Great spot for Camp War Eagle

Just what we needed for two nights of Camp War Eagle for incoming freshmen. We were there on a Sunday and Monday night in the summer, so the bar noise was not a factor. Parking was great and beds were comfortable. Host was responsive.
