Two things only, room was really nice and clean. But the room was hot, the aircon did not work, we phoned for help and no one came, had to have the windows open and even then struggled to sleep! Second issue was the breakfast, it was noted as included when booked, at check it also confirmed included and go to club lounge. Went to the lounge the next morning, however the sign there says breakfast downstairs on that day...so went downstairs, guy at eight wanted to charge us, i said it was included and the guy said you'd need to take it up with reception!

The room and the facilities were great! The pool was great and we got a massage too! The quiet time in the pool with no kids was really good. Bed was great And breakfast was amazing! The only thing was the wifi wasn’t working and the chrome cast was not working. I asked for help the 2 night and it didn’t work either night. The only thing they did was rebooted the system. After one night they didn’t do anything to help me. So that was annoying. It only worked in weird times when people were not using it.

Rooms in the Pinnacle tower are modern and clean and come with some complementary snacks and good aircon which was a must in Auckland summer. Breakfast buffet was lovely with fresh eggs cooked on demand and lots of fresh fruit. The staff at checkin desk seemed rushed and in a hurry to dismiss us without giving us much information, and didn't seem to have any details of our stay on hand from Expedia (e.g. we had to ask for a second room which we had booked ahead). We did make a mistake by arriving at 11 rather than 3pm though so they may not have had this available on their system yet. We had also asked for a room on a high floor during booking online, and rooms directly across from each other but this wasn't provided. It seemed like they weren't able to action our Expedia messages or requests. Housekeeping staff was helpful with helping us find the pool.
