A gem in Takapuna

Great 3 nights stay. Comfortable and quiet. Couldn't be more central in Takapuna. Amazing cafe at the end of the promenade very close to the Units.

Great location near the beach and Takapuna Cafe and walking distance to the shopping area. The motel grounds are peaceful and serene. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. A great place to relax and unwind. A real gem.

Wow - I stayed here decades ago and it is still every bit as great - such a beautiful property with lovely gardens and pool so close to the beach and Takapuna dining options. This is definitely a gem of a property.

Quaint and Hidden Charm

This is a gorgeous little place tucked nicely off The Prominad in Takapuna. It has an old-school, classic charm to it. It still has a key to unlock the room, which I loved. The room was a perfect size, extremely clean, and well kept. I would recommend this to anyone.

The place was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Parking was very tight , recommend having a smaller car. There was no AC in the rooms , no safe either but had a safe in the office . Overall the area was really nice and convenient.

We stayed in Mid March and the rooms were a little hot, however, the hotel is absolutely marvelous. We would definitely go back.

Great location. blocks from the beach. Great shopping and restaurants. fairly easy access to the freeway. 30 min from downtown. Bed was good. Good shower pressure and hot water. Nice porch to sit and have coffee. would definitely book again Pool is OK but small. Good for my granddaughter to visit. Staff good but did not wash dirty dishes. Had to do that ourselves.

Perfect family spot in Takapuna

Our quick one night stay at the Emerald Inn in Takapuna was lovely. The two bedroom room layout was perfect for our family, the location was ideal, everyone was very kind and welcoming, and the gardens/pool area were very nice. We would stay here again.
