Amazing location slightly ruined by drunken screaming at 2am. Room is small and basic but clean and the bed is really comfortable. If you are looking for a small, no-frills room this is great.
Comfortable bed but couldn’t reach impossibly tall closet space. Hangers were ten feet in the air. No wifi, no ac, nice housekeeping staff. Rest of staff rarely made eye contact or greeting upon arrival. Did not help open the door as I struggled with bags trying to enter or leave. Filthy curtains

Great location, close to pretty much all you want like Queen's street, Federal st. etc. Good place for short stay.
This hotel was excellent value in a great location, but you get what you pay for. The bathroom was tiny, you could sit on the toilet and shower. The kitchenette is not functional and the fridge didn’t work. The Tv was old and only had 3 stations, but the bed was clean and comfortable and you can’t beat the location.

Reception staff were great. Could not fault their service. Rooms could use a bit of updating and some deep cleaning. I.e. there were hand/finger marks (old blood stains too) on the doors that could use a good clean down. Bed and bedsheets were excellent and the size of the room itself is totally fine for the convenient location and price. TVs do not have smart tv capabilities which is standard in most 3 star hotels these days.
My wife & I had a weekend together scoping out Auckland & stayed at ibis , it was very comfortable the staff from checkin to check out were excellent ,the room service was great & would highly recommend .
The location of ibis is excellent for those who want to experience Auckland as it's pretty central & with that you couldn't get better access to all the city has to offer.

Small but adequately formed.
As a solo traveler on a 2-night stay and using the room minimally, I found the compact space adequate for my purposes. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and only contained the essential items I required.
The location is great, but the rooms are disgusting. The smell of cleaning products is overwhelmingly strong. The bathroom feels like an airplane restroom—and smells like one too!
Extremely good value for money.The city lights were very calming and enjoyable.

The location is great, just off Queen street and 15 minutes walk to airport bus. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable but there was no seat, no table, no bedside table and no bedside light. The hotel seemed very safe with key only access to the floors and a 24 hour front desk but the area is very noisy at night with drunken people on the streets below.
Am solo traveller, asked re tv only 3 channels and was moved to the other side of building, which gave better reception and all channels and a better view. Good room not so quiet, slamming doors, but all in all room was great. Glad of aircon as Auckland is chilly in June. Would recommend staying at Ibis to fellow travellers. I stayed 5 nights.
I booked this hotel including breakfast. This hotel has no restaurant/dining place inside the hotel. Hotel will give you breakfast voucher to go outside the to other restaurant. You have to walk through the street even it's cold ,raining or bad weather.
Hotel charge $20.00 for breakfast.
You can take breakfast same restaurant which cost you $12.00.
I will not stay this hotel again .
I will not recommend this hotel as well since staff not friendly.
The property was in a great location for us, not far for all the places we wanted to see. Room was clean and you could ask for pots and pans as needed. Parking could've been explained better at the front desk and perhaps also on Expedia but we did manage to sort it without too much hassle.
