Thanks for a wonderful stay! We stayed close to AUT Millennium for a waterpolo tournament and this property couldn’t have been better for what we needed! The staff were amazingly helpful too!
We stayed here for 6 nights. Location was great for us as we were visiting family and friends in Whangarei and Cambridge (North and South of Auckland) and the hotel was located only a couple of minutes from the Auckland motorway system. We did not want to stay in the CBD.
The hotel and the room was well clean and well-maintained. The room was large and had a small kitchen area - we did not cook at all during our stay, but it would have been possible to do so.
The staff were friendly; although the reception desk was not attended at all times, we could contact someone via a phone call.
I would recommend this hotel, if you do not need to stay in the CBD. We will stay here again.
Clean and comfortable, staff friendly, free parking. Only issue was hardly any toilet roll and reception was closed.

No issues with comfort, location, parking and staff. However there were some things that brought the overall experience down, mainly maintenance - oven door would not close properly which meant the cupboard under the sink would not open cleanly without holding it closed; microwave was missing a foot, which caused it to rock up and down; one of the floor tiles in the kitchen had a broken (cracked) corner; the fridge had a dented door and lastly, during the night there was a constant tapping noise during the early hours seeming to come from just under the deck which made it very difficult to get a good nights’ rest. I don’t mean to be negative, but this was not what we expected for the money spent. All these issues were reported to the desk attendant.
Great central location to access North Shore and motorways. A couple of slight improvements:
The cuboard next to the oven cannot be opened unless you push oven in.
The extractor fan could not stay on by pushing button, you have to hold it in.
The teatowels although brand new, did not dry dishes.
The washing machine needs a good clean.

Everything was well appointed in the room. It all worked & was clean, it was comfortable & nice amenities- the bed was comfortable, great pillows & roomy. It was handy and even though it was on a main road it was quiet.
