Hotel was spotless and staff extremely friendly. Only 2 issues.. no body wash in the dispenser and no parking available, despite being told it should not be an issue for us. Breakfast was just Ok.. was not hot and things like backn and sausages cit into 3rds to eke out. Would stay at the hotel again but grab a fresh breakfast in the city

Very clean and tidy room. Everything you needed (except maybe a shower cap would have been fantastic). It was very busy at reception due to being one of the busiest nights of the year, but staff handled it well and were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Perfect location and carparking insite (for a fee).

Everything good. Found a wallet from previous guest stay in the room, housekeeping din't pick that up before we checked in. Staff good except the Front Desk staff with long hair. Very condesending and needs to check his attitude if he wants a career in the hospitality industry.

We had tickets this weekend for the Otherwise Festival on K Road. The Mercure was 500 meters away from where we needed to be. We were too late requesting parking in the building but they helped with parking right next door in a Wilsons car park. The food at the Lonestar next door was yummy, and the room was quiet despite a very loud festival happening just up the road. The staff could be a little friendlier, but they were very helpful. The Mercure is truly value for money.

Checked in online via Expedia App link so on arrival I could just get my room keys on arrival. On arrival I was informed by Mercure staff that their system doesn’t talk to the Expedia’s system and that I would next to check in again, so more paperwork had to be read, accepted and signed, my details had to be given again along with credit card information. Just seemed like a doubling up on the check in process.
