A Gem of a Find

Pros: Everything
Cons: Cannot think of a thing.
Location: Great location to universities, as well as the Central Business District, and to stores of all type and restaurants. Recommend.
Staff and management incredibly professional, gracious, attentive to your needs, both actual and perceived, pleasant and effective. From first greeting to last good bye. I have stayed at hotels where the Staff was exceptional, as here, but have stayed at precious few where management goes out of way to interact with guests and personally handle any need as management did at the Pullman. Got to hotel early and realized chances of room being ready, 4 hours before Check-In time and was prepared to check bags and start exploring, though very tired. As expected, after the Front Desk checked with Housekeeping, we were told that no room was presently available and received a very sincere apology for their not having an early room. After we checked bags, but before we had walked out, we were approached by a manager responsible for guest needs. She asked us to please wait a moment, got us some great cold water and after checking and speaking with others, advised that she had a room for us. What a treat to get into room and clean up before hitting the exploration trail. She also gave us complimentary wine vouchers and made sure our luggage got to our room, even came up to room to insure that we settled in and to offer any assistance that we might require. We saw her and other Front/Conceirge Staff often during our stay and in each case were addressed by our last name. While certainly not an inexpensive hotel, for what we received, the cost was well worth it. Great value.
